Coddlelife Classic Glass Bottle, 8 Ounce (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

In the beginning this my favorite bottle. The size of the bottle is comfortable to hold and I chose glass for health/environmental reasons. I also liked that the venting system is actually part of the nipple and not a separate valve assembly. Because the flow of the included nipple was rather slow it was the bottle I chose when giving her a feeding before naptime as she would generally go to sleep before finishing. This bottle was used in rotation with 5 other bottles. After about 4 months of use though I began to notice that the collar sometimes seemed loose after a feeding. Initially I thought I was just not tightening it enough. Now, 6 months later from the first time of use the collar will not tighten at all on this bottle. Upon placing the nipple and collar unit on the bottle it will seem tight, but then simply flipping the collar with one finger is enough to turn it. My baby is now at the age that she likes to pat and play with the bottles as she nurses which causes this bottles collar to loosen and leak. Given the price of this bottle I feel that 5-6 months of use is not satisfactory. I have other brands of glass bottles and have not had this problem with them. I would not purchase this product again in the future unless the price were significantly lower.

i am disappointed in this bottle. it is sturdy and tough, but it's a bit bulky and a pain to clean the nipple. i can't honestly say that it does any difference to have the special nipple. it just makes feeding more cumbersome as it dosen't seem to matter to have the hanging vent. also, make sure not to warm the bottle with the nipple in place and twisted on, as milkk may come oozing out the vent. one ounce of precious breastmilk poured out the hole one morning as I got my bottle ready for baby. i don't use an electric warmer or a microwave, i use warm water in a dish to warm my bottles. if i hadn't seen it oozing milk from the top, more milk would've been wasted. it's basically a pain to deal with and I am using it as an additional bottle if no others are around. I prefer to use the avent, evenflo, or lifefactory bottles.

We were so excited to use these bottles and have been extremely disappointed in their performance. We used them for less than 3 months before they started leaking around the neck of the bottle when my son drank out of them. We always washed them according to the instructions and never heated the plastic collar but they still leaked so much that more than half of his milk would leak out. A few of the bottles also, after a couple of months of daily use, stopped tightening onto the bottle. The lid would spin off if you tried to pick up the bottle holding the plastic collar and the bottle would fall open. We tried everything we could think of to fix it and even worked with the company to get different bottles for us to try- the second batch did the same thing after a couple of weeks.On top of all of the issues we had with the glass bottles, the company has been absolutely horrible to work with. It takes weeks (in some cases, months) to get a response by email and their phone number doesn't connect to operators (or at least it didn't when we tried). I have been in constant contact with them for over 5 months now and still don't have a refund or any other offer to remedy the situation. We have provided a written statement of our issues with the product, receipts for our original purchases, and have returned the bottles to the company, and still, no action on their part. Even if the bottles were amazing, I still wouldn't recommend anyone buying Coddlelife products simply because the company is so impossible to work with.

These are our favorite glass bottles. We have a 4-month old boy and we've been using them for 3 months without any problems. The nipples are durable and a perfect size...thin at the tip down to a wide base. They are comfortable to hold, easy to clean, and the venting systems seems to work well. We've had cheaper and more expensive glass bottles as well as top of the line plastic bottles. We've resold all of the others and bought 8 of these.

I bought this bottle cause of the vented nipple. Don't waste your money on this bottle. The nipple is way to small, even for my 2 month old. My baby is not picky about his bottles and he would not drink from this one.

My favorite bottle for sure. I've tried quite a few, and have liked Coddlelife the most. The colic system really helps and they're so easy to wash and use.
