A good substitute for gourmet granulated onion
I have been purchasing all of my spices from The Spice House for many years. I decided to try this to save money since I use a lot of granulated onion in rub recipes. I'm happy with this as a substitute.

This is probably my favorite onion powder and I cook quite often. It enhances the flavor of all my dishes. It's literally the one seasoning I know that I'm going to use on everything. it is a good size bottle so it last a long time. And I heavily season. EasyTo dispense, Cost effective.

Why Can’t Anyone Read A Scale Around Here???
Why is everyone complaining about a light Weight item here and then showing pictures of different ways to read a scale showing the exact weight that is advertised by McCormick? 574 grams is 1.265 pounds just about exactly what is advertised here. All the other scale shots here are of different versions of the same thing. Let’s see, Onion Powder weighs more by volume than Garlic Powder, McCormick uses the same package for both items. Ergo, “my Onion Powder arrived one-third empty compared to my Garlic Powder but they weigh the same.” Thus I’m getting ripped off.” No you aren’t, you are getting what you are supposed to by weight in a package that McCormick chooses to use because it’s the closest package that they have that will fit. Please do your math correctly everyone, you’re getting what you’re supposed to get albeit in a larger package that doesn’t fit well. Please think before you post a bad review!!Five Stars for a great product *****!!
