Can this radio be setup as a cross band uhf repeater very much like the icom xband repeater?

No. This is VHF transceiver only, and will only receive/transmit on one frequency at a time, and only via AM in the VHF aircraft frequency band. This radio is not for Amateur/Ham use, but instead for professional aviation communications.

I haven't been able to test the unit thoroughly yet, but it seems to have many improvements over the A110 at first glance. UPDATE : I have installed into several vehicles, and none of the drivers have complained to me about interference or anything of that nature. I would get complaints regularly when we were using the A110. They seem to be very nice radios.
