The box is unbelievably beautiful. The photo does not do it justice. The price is unbeatable for the level of quality.I highly recommend this box for your heirloom and/ or keepsake Bible. It comes with a plate that must be engraved. However, it is worth it. I paid 5.00 to have the plate enraved. The box looks like it cost twice what you paid for it. If you need a quality box for a cherished Bible, this is the one. It really looks like cherry wood!!

Very pretty, well made box. I purchased this to protect a vintage family Bible. Will definitely purchase another. Very reasonably priced and a beautiful way to store a very old book. I will assume this is a veneer material but it is very nice!
