Must have foot for your sewing machine!
I just received this Even feed/Walking Foot today. I own a Singer Heavy Duty 4423 and it went on with a no issues at all. I tested it out a bit before I had to leave for work, and it seems to work very well. I was impressed when I folded up some vinyl and was able to sew through 12 layers! I would barely even squeeze it under the foot, but it fed right through. It wasn't the most beautiful top stitch, and I don't think I would ever do that in a project, but it gives me confidence in what my little machine can handle with this foot. I will update this review if my opinion changes after further use.

Nice Simple Upgrade
Recently pulled out wife's old Singer Simple 2263 for stitching pant leg hem on kid's new school uniform pants. With the regular presser foot, the hem always ended with a slight crease from the inner fabric being pull ever so slightly more than the top on every stitch. I'm certain perfect pant leg hem can be sewn with the regular presser foot by someone with more talent, but fore me, a quick swap of the presser foot with this even feed one solved all issues with the feed and the hem comes out perfect every time. The foot swap on the Singer 2263 is trivial. Obvious but worth mentioning is that the foot has no mechanical way of knowing when the machine is stitching in reverse, it always feeds the same direction, this isn't a negative just a way these things work.

Get This Foot - Up Your Sewing Game!!
Wow - this walking foot has really upped my sewing game. Had this on my machine non-stop for about four months now. No longer am I struggling with โfabric jamsโ holding up my stitching. Iโm not an amazing seamstress by any means but I really feel that this food has given me a lot of confidence and has made me feel like I can more easily sew difficult types of fabric with ease (polar fleece and Jersey knit in particular). It has also made pleating a breeze. It didnโt come with instructions BUT... HINT: It was easy to install after looking up a video on YouTube. You can also look up how to use it on YouTube as well. Super basic, if I can do this anyone can! The only thing to be aware of is make sure the bar on your machine will connect with the lever on the food. I went to the Singer website to confirm compatibility with my machine model number. The price here on Amazon was much cheaper. My only complaint is some fabrics catch on the tiny foot pad that is on the very back of the foot, as itโs ridged and can catch the edges of some fabrics. It doesnโt happen all the time but I do have to keep an eye out for that and pause and life the food for a second to adjust the fabric just a smidge, to avoid bunching and messing up my stitch. This would probably happen with any walking foot so I donโt blame the product. Over all - five stars foe me!

Not for slant shank. Needs more description.
I checked for model compatability and must have missed something. Had to return it. Name brand is the only type to buy! Off brand wore out quickly. This is better made.

Just what i meeded for my thicker projects!
I bought this walking foot so that I could Stitch my first quilt in straight lines. It was easy to set up watching the YouTube video from the singer company. It worked great at pulling through all the layers of fabric easily. The other day I put it on because I was using it to stitch through a two-sided fleece flannel blanket. It did a great job at feeding all the thick fabric through. I even like to use it on regular cotton and flannel Fabrics when I so now because the to feed dogs seem to pull the fabric even better than just the one set of feed dogs.

Great little sewing gadget
This is a great replacement part. I lost my original and this fit perfect and worked perfect. I love it. Highest recommendation.

Great!
Easy to attach! Has been put through some really tough and thick projects and has performed perfectly for at least a month now! Love it! I have ended up using it for several projects that donโt call for it- just because it keeps the fabric moving so well, and makes it so easy to make straight lines of you just let it go to work on its own. I have also discovered that it is handy for seam-gauging by adjusting the needle slightly, then following the inner side of the innermost claw for 1/8-inch seam and the outer edge of the claw for 1/4-inch seam- so has essentially become my 1/4-inch foot!

I bought this foot for my Singer Simple 3232, after sewing a quilt with the original foot that came with the machine. As you can imagine, using the original foot did not yield a very smooth and even quilt. The top fabric pulled and did not stay even with the batting and backing, so the top was a little misshapen when I finished. After doing a little research, I found out that most quilters use a walking foot. I set out to start my next quilt, with my brand new walking foot and was pleasantly surprised by the results. The installation of this foot was very easy (I looked up video instructions via a quick internet search). Using this new walking foot makes quilting a joy and I no longer have to stress about the fabric pulling the entire time. If you're going to be sewing projects that require multiple pieces of fabric to be sandwiched together (such as blankets, purses, scarves), I would definitely recommend this walking foot, if it fits your machine. I wasn't sure if this would fit my machine, so I searched the Customer Questions & Answers section to find out.

Amazing!
I've been meaning to get one of these for so long but as they're a little pricey I kept putting it off. In the last few years I've been working a lot more with faux leathers and tried all sorts of ways to make it work with my machine but it's always been a struggle, I finally got this as I have a commission coming up that will be entirely out of faux leather, rather than the odd strap, and I'm so glad because I use it all the time! I have a Singer 2808 sewing machine, it's old and not advanced but surprisingly sturdy, getting this walking foot has saved me having to buy a whole new machine as it can now do so much more! It's easy to attach, easy to use, and is exactly as it is pictured in the listing. I would 100% recommend to anyone who is planning on working with awkward materials (eg. Leather, faux leathers, velvets, anything that sticks or moves as you work with it) or if you're sewing multiple layers at once. In the past I've used one of these whilst making a jacket from silk velvet and a walking foot really saved it!

Worked really well!
I ordered this to fit my Janome 2212 sewing machine to make a quilt. I was worried that it wouldn't be compatible because the seller information didn't list specific sewing machine models, so I was really happy that it was easy to install and use. Janome brand walking foot attachments are $100 (at least online) and since my local sewing stores are all closed right now because of the pandemic, I had to order one online. All you need to install this on your machine is a flat head screwdriver -- super simple. Works quite well, although on thicker areas (border corners for example), the fabric sometimes got stuck in the feed dogs. Works really well for quilting with cotton batting.
