i-Blason Ares Case for iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro 6.1 Inch (2020 Release), Dual Layer Rugged Clear Bumper Case with Built-in Screen Protector(MintGreen)

I've been using this case for about a year, just never got around to writing a review for it. Best case I've ever used for an iPhone in this price range. Both the front and back of the phone are protected. It offers some protection if you drop your phone from a normal distance like holding it in your hand and it slips and hits the floor. I wouldn't take it to the top of a building and let it fall..lol I've seen a couple of reviews complaining that the case would not handle a 20ft drop. To be honest, if you're going to be in a situation where your phone could possibly drop 20 ft, you should take more responsibility and not depend on an 18 dollar case to save your phone. You need to spend more money on a case if you're that irresponsible with your thousand dollar phone. This is a great case for normal, every day use. Also, the case is not difficult to remove if you know what you're doing. I've removed the phone from the case several times for regular cleaning. With the front of the phone facing you, pull down on the left corner of the back of the case. It will pop apart allowing you to safely remove the phone. There are plenty of videos on YT that show you how to remove any case, the same rule applies to just about every standard case on the market. And, the more you remove it for cleaning the protective front screen, it will get easier every time to separate the two pieces. Some people don't even do this extra step for cleaning their screen. It's not necessary but I just prefer cleaning it this way.

It still fits comfortably in my pocket and car mount, which was a major concern with other rugged cases I considered. The textured back provides excellent grip, reducing the likelihood of drops in the first place. Installation was straightforward, and after six months of daily use, the case shows minimal wear and no loosening around the edges. For anyone with an active lifestyle or just prone to accidents, this case provides peace of mind without compromising your phone experience.

Great product! Rubber case is not a hard rubber, it's smooth and perfect for hanging on to. Buttons stick up just the right amount to feel them easily, flaps over the silence button and power slot are thick and sturdy. Back side is clear, front screen is very clear, does not interfere with touch screen use. I got one for my iPhone 12 pro. Perfect fit. This is not water proof or dust proof, but it protects against 95% of it.

I had this case for about 2.5 years and it did OK (it was certainly better than measly slip case my phone had). It had good grip, simple design, and several color options. It was functional but it is not waterproof (it's not supposed to be waterproof). The frame felt weak and finally broke while cleaning it one day. I went with a Pelican brand case instead, much more durable for forestry. It's good case if you don't need something for a more demanding environment.

I bought this case right when the iPhone 12 came out, so there wasn't much to choose from. The colour and faceplate were the reasons why I bought it. I wish the case had an option to come without the screen protector, but an exacto knife and 15 minutes later and I was able to remove it. The back of the case is the same kind of screen protector, but I opted not to cut it out. MagSafe should work just fine through the thin sheet of plastic. The back of the phone has a raised edge so the camera doesn't contact the table. Buttons are clicky and work great. I wish though that the charging port and silent switch weren't perpetually covered by a flap, but that's something I can live with since I use wireless charging most of the time anyway. I also wish the back camera area hugged the frosted glass a little more, but that's just a nitpick.

I bought this case kinda skeptical. I was over caffeinated one night spinning my phone in my hand. It slipped out my hand hit the apt window bounced against the concrete and landed screen down. I was prepared to take my L. I walked down stairs to get my phone and it was perfectly fine. Ive been getting only these cases ever since 2017. Well worth the money. Will last a year / year and a half. Clearly because im rough with my phone. The one downside I will say is if your phone gets wet the touch screen wont work. Youll have to take the case apart to dry it before itll work again.

I’m on my third one of these. Cheap, love that it is an all in one so I don’t need to deal with that sticky screen protector and cheap enough that replacing several times still costs less than an otter box

For me, built-in screen protector is a deal breaker. This case completely covers the phone. Light, no bulk, fits in pocket. Previous “heavy duty military” metal interfered w/reception. This rubber case at 1/2 the price-weight-bulk offers all the same. Touch screen works great & camera has a raised edge to help protect it. (I always have an extra screen protector over cams on the back). My previous (heavy) duty military grade w/built in cover looked hard core and still cracked. No cover is fool proof. So far, this cover is better than expected. All depends on how it lands when dropped. H2O proof? Haven’t had water events yet but since it won’t swim back to you… I imagine it depends how fast you retrieve it. Prob buy a diff color when it goes on sale. Thumbs up.

I thought this was a great case but found it too bulky for me. It did not fit in a pocket well and was just too big to carry, even in a purse. I do feel it would give great protection for your phone, but it didn't work for me.

I bought this case for my new iPhone 12. It fits like a glove and even the screen protector is undetectable. Very much worth the money I would definitely order another.
