Honey? Yes please
What can you say about a quality honey? Let me count the ways. This is a great raw honey that has a sweet taste and a great smell. It is smooth and raw which is like we want it. I have oney experienced crystalization at the very end of a batch which isn't a problem for me. It is a natural process and dissolves fine. If you are a honey fan, give it a try. Healthy, last long and is oh so tasty

SUPERB
I don't write many reviews but when a product is as outstanding as the OneRoot Raw Buckwheat honey I received today I am happy to leave one. This honey is exquisite. If you don't like it then you probably simply don't care for buckwheat honey. I'm sure it's not for everyone. It's much darker than most honey with a very bold taste. I would describe it as earthy, nutty, toffee like. It's also a little less sweet than other honeys. Aside from it's numerous health benefits I think this would be fantastic drizzled on oatmeal. I can also see using it in glazes and BBQ sauces. Because the flavor is very intense it would overpower delicate flavors. I doubt there is any higher quality buckwheat honey out there. The price is reasonable too for such a high quality artisanal product.

Amazing Taste with Great Medicinal Benefits
I really like this honey! After a "lot" of research into companies and tasting, I found OneRoot Buckwheat honey the best in consistency and taste. A number of companies heat their honey up to 140 degrees which I have read by Bee Keepers and the Industry "experts" this destroys valuable nutrients. I take my hat off to Sandt's as they acknowledge they heat their honey up to 140 degrees "gently" over a two day period, claiming nothing is destroyed in the process. I respectfully disagree based on my research and admit their buckwheat honey tasted excellent... a shame for me that I'm picky? I believe Nate's is the same thing in the heating process so I disposed both manufacture's products into the "bin" - that hurt, but why consume a product that, in my personal view, has lost so many good things that urged me to consume honey in the first place? I would like to ask those who gave this OneRoot Buckwheat Honey a one or two star a question: when you mention "there are better Buckwheat honeys out there", why is it you never mention their names? This makes me suspicious of your evaluations. Just sayin! By The Way, just purchased the 6.6lb bucket. When it arrives, I'll put it into Mason Jars, label them and use one jar at a time with the other jars in the fridge or freezer. And, before anyone has heart burn on the fridge or freezer, please do your research first and I don't mean relying on the "threads"!

Best honey ever
This is probably the best quality honey I have ever had. I was searching for anything that would help coughing fits id had not stop for months. Research told me this was the best type of honey for coughs. I was on steroids, a nebulizer and added this. I noticed it helped to add. Now that I have finally improved, I still take this once a day. For the benefits but also the taste. It has crystalized a bit now that its a little over half way gone, but I read that just speaks to its high quality. I just stir it. Doesn't change anything. I highly recommend!

Good stuff, reasonably priced.
I have tried many brands of Buckwheat honey and this is one of the milder tasting. One noticeable quality is that it is not as viscous as others which are American brands though I suspect some might molasses to improve flavor but that is just a suspicion. Also it does not get as thick in very cold weather but I wonder if this is a characteristic of Canadian honey...just wondered.

The Worst Ever!
The seller lied big time! They knew how to use key words like 'quality honey' but in the jar there is the worst honey I've ever run into. It is impossible to swallow it. It has a overwhelming taste of smoke. Also, this crooked seller did not provide a return button to be able to return the item, so I cannot return this piece of garbage.

It disappeared for a while; then it came back...
What I like about it, and why I plan to buy it again: (1) It is liquid, with no sign of crystallization at the bottom of the jar. (2) It has a taste of its own: some honey I have tried were just sugary, without any particular taste. Those I found to have a taste of their own were: coriander honey (if you can get it -- try Yummy Bazaar in New Jersey), linden honey (I buy the Breitsamer brand, widely available, Amazon or your local stores), chestnut honey (check Mira Nova on Amazon; also Giannetti or Rigoni di Asiago, both from Italy), and honeydew honey, aka forest honey (a category that includes pine honey, fir honey, oak honey, beech honey, etc., in addition to "forest honey" which I assume is a blend of honeys from several sources - check what Amazon has to offer). (3) It is definitely far better than the other buckwheat honeys I tried (Sandt, Goshen, etc.) (4) It comes in a glass jar: this may matter if you take your time eating the whole jar. July 11, 2021 - I ordered, and just received another jar. The glass jar came in a cardboard box on which there was a label: "BBD May 13, 2026", which means that it is fresh honey. Now, I know that honey never goes bad, but I happen to like mine liquid, without crystallization, i.e. without the need to fuss over it to bring it back to the liquid state (if possible). I have a few other jars (three on the kitchen counter) that I want to finish first, and then it's going to be chestnut honey and buckwheat honey for me, with a jar of linden honey to sweeten my tea. Don't be afraid, try it! ---- Update, June 17, 2023 It disappeared for a while; then it came back and I immediately ordered one jar: ordered June 10, received June 14, sooner than expected. So, I ordered another on June 14 (should arrive June 21-23). [My excuse: I may have a sore throat, at times. Better be ready; you never know! Besides, it is not too sweet; consider it a "diet food".]

## ONEROOT Canadian Raw Buckwheat Honey: A Sweet, Earthy Delight I'm a honey enthusiast, and I've tried my fair share of varieties. But nothing compares to ONEROOT Canadian Raw Buckwheat Honey. It's truly a game-changer. Here's why I'm hooked: • Unique and Delicious Flavor: Buckwheat honey has a deep, rich, and slightly earthy flavor that's unlike any other honey I've tasted. It's not overly sweet, but it has a complex sweetness that lingers on the palate. • Exceptional Quality: This honey is raw and unpasteurized, which means it retains all its natural goodness and enzymes. The fact that it's harvested in Canada and certified Kosher adds to its premium quality. • Health Benefits: Buckwheat honey is known to be higher in antioxidants than Manuka honey, which is a major plus for health-conscious individuals like myself. It's a natural source of energy and nutrients. • Versatility: I use this honey for everything – on toast, in my tea, as a sweetener in smoothies, and even as a glaze for roasted vegetables. It elevates the flavor of any dish. My Experience: I've already purchased at least 4 units of this honey, and I'm always happy to have a jar on hand. It's become a staple in my kitchen, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates quality honey with a unique flavor. Overall: If you're looking for a truly exceptional honey, look no further than ONEROOT Canadian Raw Buckwheat Honey. It's a delicious and healthy treat that I can't get enough of.
