I was astounded at the quality of these little blocks. They are just like the ones I had when I was young....astounding. They even come in their own little storage bag, a big boon for harried moms.

Blocks are a good size, stack well and perfect size (not too small). Great for learning upper and lower case ABC,s and the pictures on the blocks are great. Comes with storage bag, which I also like. Good value. Granddaughter loves seeing how high she can stack the blocks.

When I played with these and my grandson, we lined up the numbers 1-10 and found an extra number block, which had a 1 on one side and a 10 on the other. Then we lined up all the letter blocks and found that the "L" block was missing. So, all told, there were 36 blocks as advertised but no "L". I set up a return (since I could not find a way to request the missing "L"), but before submitting the refund request, I went back to double check both sides of the number blocks, thinking there might be an "L" on one of them.The letter blocks have the capital letter on one side and the lower case letter on the opposite side. Lo and behold, the lower case "L" looks like a "1". So actually, there was an "L" block and just the ten number blocks. I had mistaken when lining up the numbers, the lower case "l" for the "1".Overall, a very nice block set, the normal (from my childhood) size and very well made.

This works for many ages. I love that it’s wood and not plastic. My granddaughter has been playing this for the last two years. She can build things with it and in between we’re spending more and more time learning what’s the letters are.

Sharp edges out of the box. The wood is soft so it filed down eventually.

Bought for an 18 month old. Large size is easy to pick up and stack. Hours of good fun and eye / hand coordination development.

Can't figure out why the w has a picture of yarn on it? But love everything what about them. Perfect.
