This is awesome paper especially for art projects that require that long length. The color selection is great as well.

Bought this quite a while ago and it has held up nicely. Used to obscure windows on a cabinet and worked great.

I used this product for my first ever shoji paper replacement project. The paper was thinner than the stuff I was replacing, but once mounted you can’t tell anyway. And since this was my first time, I don’t know if perhaps the paper it replaced was extra thick? This paper only shows a pattern from one side, so if you want to see that pattern don’t accidentally glue it wrong side down. Do use Japanese rice glue. If you use Elmers glue or something not easily removed you will be kicking yourself some time in the future when you need to replace it. Shoji is not tough stuff, and eventually you will be needing to replace it again.

I used it to make a lamp. 4 stars only because there seemed to be a darker seam where two pieces were glued together, so I had to "waste" a bit part. I'll find a use for it later with a smaller project perhaps.

Used to glow up my workbench. I also made a lantern for my son. Copied Sam Boyette's triple lines from these reviews cause it looked cool. Thanks Sam

きなりの方は想像していたよりうすめで、日差しがほどよく入るのでとても良い。障子に気持ちインパクトを与えたいというような場合にうってつけだと思います。 うすとくさは、かなり濃い緑です。私のように、日差しを遮りたい、外から見え難くしたいというような用途にうってつけです。良い買い物をしました。

I was worried the shoji wouldn't have the texture I was expecting since I couldn't see a proper close up of the paper before ordering. However, it looks great. Only downside is the outer face of the roll, maybe about 20cm of length, is slightly darker than the rest, likely aged by light. Still great though!
