If you want compact and powerful Arduino compatible computing these are potentially a solution. IO is a bit limited and care has to be taken when selecting IO pins, but for driving serial and I2C devices plus the odd LED/Relay - great. Yes it's funcional, like you see in picture is conected to wifi.Very important, ESP chip know just wep-psk encryption, mode AES. So you must set wifi security tu this kind of encription. Good product and good value.
