Not every mask or product works for everyone, but when you find one that works for you... I just started using masks not long ago & while I like the collagen variety, this snail mucin is the one I am now subscribed to. The others work really well, but I was able to feel immediate results with this one. Also, it works very well with the rest of my minimalist skin care routine.Because they are so thin & slippery, the masks can be difficult to remove from the inner wrapping& get in place. I end up getting the part around my mouth IN my mouth half the time. These are thinner than the gel masks I've used because of the nearly tissue-thin material. However, they don't slide as much as the gel ones and stay in place - once I get them in place.What I like most is that the essence just works better for my skin needs. Everyone is different & I have noticed that snail mucin happens to be what my drier and more mature skin loves. I wash my face and after leaving the mask on for around 20 minutes (and sometimes longer, if I am busy), my skin feels super hydrated. I apply some bakuchiol niacinamide (that my skin also loves, my regular moisturizer and, for daytime, my sunscreen. For nighttime, instead of sunscreen, I apply a little Vaseline or something similar.It's nice that you get 10 masks in a pack. I am using one about once a week but might use more depending on how dry our winter is. I find that the masks are affordable because they replace so many other moisturizers. Have sensitive skin so was a little worried. This is very slimy but once you start unfolding it is a lot easier to manage. I have used similar masks but this is by far the best . A little difficult to unfold the mask itself without getting it all wrinkled up and folded in on itself. However, I love the serum in these masks! I use them to moisturizes after I use a AHA/BHA peel. The serum is a little sticky feeling at first, but does not dry tacky or sticky. I appreciate the box that these masks come in so that I don't find "loosies" when I'm searching.

I am new to this Korean skincare/beauty brand, but had read several glowing reviews, especially about the Snail Mucin Sheet Mask, I decided to give it a go.Up front, the mask is slimy which shouldn’t come as a shock given its main ingredient (96%) is the slimy secretion produced by snails. Best not to think about that, and no, snails are not harmed to extract the slime.Downside: Because the mask is slippery, it can be tricky to apply, and there is a lot of mucin, so much so, I apply the extra to my arms and hands. Even so, it can feel a tad sticky, but there is very little scent.Upside: One of the most hydrating, moisture boosting masks I’ve used, and my skin really does feel soft and look brighter afterwards.Sheets come in packs of ten and I think the cost is reasonable and the results, very good. I use the mask either at night before bed, or before an event to brighten and plump my skin.
