EDUP HOMEEH-14.5-Clock, 14.5 INCH, White

The brightness on this clock is insane. I originally purchased it with the intention of using as a bedroom night clock, but even at the LOWEST brightness setting, it illuminates the room enough to read a book in the dark. I sized, cut, and mounted a sheet of dark window tint over it to try to mitigate the glow, but it was still much too much. Ended up putting it in the den, where it effectively now serves as a full-room nightlight, which I didn't really need, and now I must buy another clock for the bedroom.The device itself is fine. Installation was quick and easy (both times), and it looks very attractive. Against a white wall, it gives the illusion of luminous digits hovering in the air. Neat effect.My only complaint about the device itself is that it occasionally goes through "blinking fits." Note that this is not the issue of the colon : separator blinking on and off every second -- that can be controlled via the remote. The phenomenon I'm seeing is that the entire clock flashes off and on irregularly for about 30 seconds. Seems to happen a couple of times a day. The power connections are all sound and stable, and the device is plugged into a UPS that is logging steady output on the port, so it cannot be an issue of power loss or voltage irregularity. Peculiar and annoying.

Havent set it up yet but it turned on. Idk how to set the time but i plan to use it in my dorm when i go off to uni. Very cute

The media could not be loaded.  I really loved this clock. I bought it for my classroom. My students like it and I've had many teachers ask where I purchased it. I loved it until the remote went missing in September 2021. I tried but was unable to find a replacement. There is no way to change the time without the remote. In October, the displayed time was 2 minutes slow. I purchased an ir blaster for my phone, but without the original remote, I was unable to copy the signal. I was able to use two built in remotes from the ir blaster app to change the time, but it was a very difficult process. It was so difficult that despite the clock being off by 2 minutes, I waited until after daylight savings to set the time. As of last week, my clock is again off by 2 minutes. Apparently it's losing 2 minutes every 3 months. It wasn't a significant problem before the remote went missing. I remember, frequently updating the time before it was lost. I've been dealing with the time issue, but as of yesterday afternoon the clock began changing between the different displays time, temp, date, and alarm. Not sure how to stop it. I am so disappointing, because I really like the look of this clock. However, a $40 clock should not lose time, or at least not as frequently. A $40 clock should have buttons that allow for adjusting the clock if the remote is lost. A $40 clock should not stop working properly after a single year of use.

Loved having this clock. It was bright, sleek and pretty accurate but unfortunately it didn’t last very long. After about a year and a half, some of the dashes started going dull and ultimately just went out completely which made it almost impossible to read the time. Had to toss it sadly

It’s very easy to read and I love having it face my bed because I can tell the time right as I wake up and this has definitely saved me from oversleeping. It’s so simplistic but such a nice staple that I have received many compliments on!

This product was a great edition to my daughter’s room. She loves it and it goes with everything. The small and transparent cord allows the clock to appear to be floating. I highly recommend purchasing it!!

Love this clock! I placed it above my door in my room and it looks amazing! Very bight very easy to read you can also dim the brightness of the light

Je suis très heureux de mon achat. Cette horloge (modèle acheté : 14.5 po) est tout simplement génial. J'avais peur qu'elle soit trop petite pour mes besoins mais elle est tout simplement parfaite. À 30 pieds de distance et à 12 pieds dans les airs, j'arrive à lire l'heure sans problème. J'oubliais de mentionner que le câble usb fournit avec l'horloge est très très long ce qui est très pratique.Il y a plusieurs mode de luminosité (le mode idéal selon moi est : automatique, je trouve qu'il gère très bien l'éclairage environnant). Personnellement, je ne recommande pas cette horloge pour une chambre à coucher ou pour les petites pièces car même en mode auto et j'ai même essayé le mode "low" et l'éclairage reste assez intense, à moins d'éteindre l'affichage durant la nuit. Chez moi, durant la nuit, elle me sert de veilleuse, à elle seule est éclaire ma cuisine et mon salon ce qui m'évite d'avoir à allumer les lumières durant la nuit lorsque nous nous déplaçons.Côté température, je trouve qu'il fait très bien son travail, je n'ai pas vraiment constaté de problème de ce côté-là. Il donne fidèlement la température exacte.La télécommande, simple et très pratique. En parlant de télécommande, à partir de cette dernière, on peut faire en sorte de faire basculer l'heure en passant par la date et la température en boucle indéfiniment ou tout simplement la laisser en mode fixe sur l'heure. Je trouve cette option très pratique.Bravo! pour cette magnifique horloge numérique. Bref, je n'ai vraiment de rien de négatif à dire sur cette horloge numérique, à part peut-être sur le fait qu'il aurait été très agréable de faire disparaitre le fil usb d'alimentation de l'horloge (il a beau être long mais il vient gâcher le charme et l'esthétique de cette horloge. Il n'y a rien de plus laid que de voir un foutu fil pendre ou passer sur un mur).Note au concepteur, le même modèle mais sans fils cette-fois.

Se ve muy bien la luz de los números además de la opción de bajar la intensidad, las funciones del reloj y el control funcionan increíble. Muy buena compra

Looks cheaper then in pic, very poor quality cord and not even a wall plug, don’t waste your time trying to set this garbage up

Much more entertaining then watching tv I can just come home from work and watch it change time for hours even ended up selling my 65 inch tv and bought a couple more of these around the house and even in the washroom! #LivingLikeLarry
