Love this instrument
I bought it to try and learn slide playing. Has a great sound. After lots of experimenting with string types I tried making different nut saddles out of bits of plastic to raise the action (and allow fingering behind the slide). Succeeded in the end by fashioning one from a a piece of electrical conduit. This model is no longer available as they have changed it (the electric equivalent Jim Dandy) to have string pegs but I guess it will be just as good, especially for non-slide.

I love this guitar - its a genuine parlour guitar and so suitable as i dont have much space. marvelous sounds so high and clear.

Solid sound, great price
This guitar is exactly what you can expect from an acoustic Gretsch of this price range. The finished details make it a nice piece of kit and it has a really solid sound.
