Actually is Waterproof and windproof. It is fairly inexpensive and the material prone to rips, mine ripped at the hood toggles in the 2nd week and the toggles are a necessity in wind & rain if you're going to use the hood. One pocket also ripped when it caught on a door handle, the pockets openings are such as they are prone to catch things. For the price, water/windproof and very light I can live with being careful not to rip it, however in the UK they use royal mail to deliver which is pointless unless you're home all week. No point ordering something to be delivered and then having the hassle to travel to a royal mail parcel place, might as well go to a nearer shop, so unfortunately I won't be replacing my ripped one. I tried but the delivery option is no good.

I've been using this style waterproof jacket for a few years now.Packs in a small convenient bag. Opens out into a great fitting waterproof jacket that's also good for breaking a cold wind.I use a large size for running & walking in the summer if there is a chance of rain.I use an XL size jacket in the winter because it fits over thick sweatshirts & bulkier winter clothing.Nice deep pockets you can get your hands into when it's cold.I haven't damaged any of the jackets yet.I normally keep one of these jackets in the car just in case, we appear to get lots of rain in the UK these days.Great jacket, I own 3 of these jackets my wife also has the same style jacket.Tried & tested, thoroughly recommended.
