Can someone explain how to tighten the headrest? I turn the knobs, but it is still loose. Thanks!

There is a release latch that you need to release first before tightening.

The seat is a little wobbly after very little use. has anyone tried to tighten the seat, and if so, does a regular hex wrench work?

The seat does have some adjustments and mine tightened nicely

can the headrest be made parallel to the floor?

Yes the hedrest adjust parallel to the floor
