These are actually my 2nd set; the first I bought about 2 years ago. I love them so much on my first bike that I bought them again for the 2nd. They're a very generous size, grip to my shoes well, and are still reasonably lightweight. And I think the colors look great.

Pedals looks great, thin and lightweight. The mounting spindle sits at same height as screws, causing significant foot slippage if your not locked in the screws. For the price they will do the trick for general mountain biking, but push too hard and you'll be buying shin guard also for the pedal bite, like myself.

Great pedals. These platforms are larger than my Oneups and Crankbrothers Mallet "clipless" pedals, so I've had a few pedal strikes. I'm using my shoes for my clipless pedals (didn't want to buy new shoes) and the grip pins are grippy enough (even though I still have the bracket in the center, which is scratching the pedal tops--I should remove those brackets). Of course nothing is as "locked in" as clipless, but at least you can put your foot down quickly to keep from falling down the hill.

Decent product, I hit a few rocks and divots and they held up. My feet seemed to move a bit because the main contact point was in the middle and there’s very little grip at that point. Overall pretty good for the money. I plan to put grip tape or do something to help the grip.
