S&W Low Sodium Canned Garbanzos, Chickpeas, Plant Protein and Fiber, Gluten Free, Vegan, Low Fat, 12 Pack of 15.5 oz Cans, Canned Beans

We have many recipes in our rotation that include beans, and red kidney beans are a favorite. I like to keep cans in the cabinet because they are fast and easy - and the S&W folks have the lower sodium version we need to keep salt intake within accepted parameters 😁. I also love that the S&W folks have a process that keeps kidney beans their lovely red color - something I have not figured out how to do myself when cooking dry beans - and fresh are so rarely available. Plus, those who know recommend keeping canned foods for your first level power outage emergency stash - which we have needed the past two years - as they don't require water like dried beans do - something ELSE that goes when the power is out in our location. I still keep and cook dried beans, but we use these when speed, color, or simply a small portion are required, for all types of salads, color in chili, and just tossed with bacon and onion as a side dish. I was very happy to be able to order them in a case flat at a reasonable cost. Saves me the effort of getting them at the grocery, and when secured in the flat case they arrive intact and not all beaten up. It is amazing how quickly these disappear into dishes when we have them handy in the cabinet!

I tried these canned beans from our local grocery store. They are delicious. The package arrive in a decent amount of time. I would order from this company again!

Good beans! No fahrts! Not expensive. Just as good as home-cooked beans.

I make homemade hummus twice a month. This brand type will be my go to. Great taste and much lowered sodium.

I decided to try the non-organic chickpeas because they are considerably less expensive and are low sodium. 90% of the time I purée them in the JAWS professional blender I bought from Amazon and make my own hummus with the canned chickpeas tahini that I buy from Amazon. Nothing tastes better than homemade hummus and it is so easy to make with canned chickpeas and a great blender. chickpeas are very high in protein and fiber and other important nutrients.

I love black beans and these low sodium black beans are both tasty and healthy! I enjoy putting them on top of sweet potatoes to make a filling, inexpensive dinner.

Beans I was able to use in undented cans very good. However most cans were dented with three so bad I didn’t trust to use (picture shown). The cans were packed dented as plastic wrap and other packaging was not damaged. What I saved buying online was wasted throwing out cans not useable.
