Bought this to connect directly to the television in the upper level from the router. Cannot tell you if it worked any better than wifi connection. Perhaps not as great of a value as a more common CAT 5 -7

I wanted something that would lie flat on the floor under a rug. This is ideal for that, and looks like good materials and build quality. Upgraded specs for a reasonable price, very pleased.

I play ping-intensive games on my college campus and this cord saved me from the terrible wireless connection. Went from 30 up 7 down to 1gb up 700 down with 8 ping. Definitely worth the purchase.
