Worked great for my Murphy bed making project!
I made a Murphy bed cabinet for a queen sized bed and the plywood I used to make the sizes of the cabinet and shelving was 3/4" thick poplar. This was my first time using veneer edge banding. I was doubtful that it would hold up. But so far it's very strong and gave my project a very professional final look. I actually had to buy an iron for ironing clothes because I haven't had one for years. And it works great. At one point I even had to remove a strip of the banding and quickly reattach it because I ran a long line and it was crooked and straying too much. It worked out and I was able to save the strip I pulled off and reuse it. I did this before it had a chance to cool down so that's probably why.I don't know how well this would stain but after painting my entire project with a warm white the finished look for my bed has that melamine look you typically see with shelving. The ends and corners have that sharp and clean appearance. I have a lot more product than I need but I plan to use the remainder of what I have for other projects. I want to make some shelving for inside of the closets in our home using 3/4" thick plywood where the edge of the wood will have rounded curves. This banding should do the trick and make the edges look nice and clean. I'll provide photos whenever I get to that project. I'll have to be quite dexterous by using only the pointed noise of the iron to work with concave curves. Hopefully it will work out. But given than this product comes in a circular roll I am confident that this should worked for projects that have rounded edges and curves. The price was very good compared to what local wood and lumber stores were charging for the same amount. I highly recommend the product for quality and value. Five stars hands down.

Every bit as good as the name brand stuff at a fraction of the price.
Every bit as good as the name brand stuff at a fraction of the price. We have used this on about 100 cabinets at this point. The glue sticks very well, the only time it has come off is when we didn't clean the edge of dust, but after wiping the dust of and reheating the same piece it has always stuck perfectly. We have used this to repair other furniture where the "glued" on banding came off while in storage. This replaced it perfectly, stuck well and hasn't come off. We have had it installed in places for over 1 year now and had zero problems with it coming off. We have painted it, stained it and polyurathed it all without issue. The seams do stand out some with dark stains so if you are going to stain an edge a dark color and it will be in a very visible place then be careful to avoid seams in that spot. This kind of product is what keeps me coming back to Amazon. Thank you seller for offering a great product at a good price!

Joints
Banding is typical like other brands except it seems to have more finger joints that are not matched very well. It does bond very good but more waste than other brands.

Nice thick edging, poor adhesion problems
This is a nice heavy edge band, fairly simple to use. Take note that this is a paint grade edging and the seams where the edge pieces are glued together are very visible. Adhesion was ok until I primed my work.peices with a high build primer. Even using light coats and drying in between each one the glue lifted on almost all of the pieces. I had to heat the edging where it lifted to reactivate the glue. Some areas would not adhere so I ended up using wood glue and tape to get them to adhere to the wood.

Adhesive leaves something to be desired
I bought this a couple years back figuring it's good to have around. On the whole it's not bad- the wood itself is pretty nice and clear, with the occasional stitched seam as one would expectThe adhesive leaves a little bit to be desired. If you baby your pieces, this should work just fine. However, I just made some cabinets that required some manhandling into place, and I find the veneer strips peeling off. It's annoying as I've already painted the whole thing. Had I known this would happen, I'd have just glued things into place.Overall, it ain't terrible, but it's not wowing me either.

Great, Simple, Easy
I use this on all my wood working projects. Very easy to apply and very quick to cure. I used a regular small travel clothes iron with no problems.

Splits, Cracks, twice the labor just to make it not look terrible.
UPDATE 3/20/18 ******************After writing to the seller with my complaint, he sent me two replacement rolls for free that are a significant improvement. Great service!----------------------------------------------------Just switched to this product mid-production on a frameless kitchen cabinet set. This band material splits and cracks like crazy, leaving frayed edges and broken grain. I'm already spending twice as long cleaning it up, or having to peel it off and replace it.I don't know if this is just a bad batch, but this roll is terrible.

This is the one to get!
I returned a similar roll from Skelang brand, which had very ugly and frequent finger joints connecting the different pieces of wood together. This one is profoundly better. It has nearly invisible finger joints.
