Love
Works well and quiet. Keeps odors to a minimum and definitely helps with allergy relief. Easy to clean and maintain. A great brand and model in 2025. Letโs see if they keep it up.

Quiet and Effective
We recently moved to the city into a tiny apartment with a large dog that sheds heavily. I don't usually have allergies but noticed that I started sneezing a ton more in this new living situation. I did a bit of research on air purifiers and settled on this one primarily because of the price and the way it looks. I wanted something that was visually unobtrusive. I have been very happy with how this purifier has worked out for us. We've definitely notices an improvement in the air quality in our apartment. It has eliminated all of the sneezing I was experiencing. It is quiet in it's low and medium settings, and sounds like a fan on the highest setting. I leave it on auto mode and it really only kicks into high gear when the dog lays on her bed (right next to the purifier) or when we're cooking. It seems to be very sensitive to increased air pollution and adjusts the speed responsively. The pre-filter works really well. I'm a bit appalled by how gross it gets, but it's nice to see that it is, indeed, filtering small particles out of the air. I give it a quick wipe with a wet cloth once a week, very easy and convenient to clean. Worth the cost, very happy with this purchase.

Great buy!
10/10 best purchase for my home. I own 2 now! Keeps the air clean!!! You barely even notice it running. Very effective.

A great unit for a bedroom.
First of all, don't listen to the reviewer that said his power button didn't work on all 3 of the units he purchased-that was a bad review because he is turning it off wrong. To turn the unit on it requires only a soft, single touch-to turn the unit off it requires a soft touch but hold down the touch until it turns off (about 2-3 seconds). Anyways, l have a Bissell Air320 in my main living space which is a good unit and looks really cool but it's not meant for a bedroom because, for me, it's way too loud. This Coway is small and looks cool too and is really quiet on setting '1' which is what l set it at when sleeping. It still makes some noise but its very quiet. As far as air purifiers go it seems to do its job well. The filters fit very tight and when its on 'auto' mode it seems to sense dirty air well and fluctuates the fan speed accordingly. All in all, this appears to be a fine unit for a bedroom and I'm very satisfied...

Good, but could be slightly better
TL;DR Pros: -Quiet -Relatively small -Looks good (personal opinion) -Relatively inexpensive Cons: -Needs better documentation -Missing second charcoal foam filter -Missing any sort of convenient handle -Not suitable for large rooms/spaces Detailed Review: I have one of the AirMega AP-1512 (now replaced by the almost identical 200M). My choice in selecting and procuring that model was down to all the great reviews that compared the performance, power consumption, cost to buy, and cost to own of several of the top performing and popular brands on the market. There were others that outperformed the Coway, but not enough to be significant, and none were as cheap to procure and own (the running costs of the Coway were hands down less than any other brand). Having a great experience with the AP-1512, I decided to try the new 150 model to use in a smaller room (my 10โ x 10โ office), and because being confined to my house for the past year has more dust being created were I sit and work all day. My first impressions were good. The 150 seems to be well built and has familiar features and layout to the older unit I have been using for years. One thing I notice immediately when I was unboxing the unit was that it only comes with a single charcoal foam filter, which is supposed to be changed out after 6 months, but the HEPA filter is at 1 year. This means I either have to use the foam filter for a full year or replace the HEPA filter early. I wish it would have come with 2 of the foam filters as you would get in a filter replacement pack. Outside of missing one foam filter to make it through a year (and you can only by the replacement filters as a set and not individual components), the unit is also missing any sort of convenient handle to pick up and move it (the AP-1512 has a handle on it). After getting all the wrapping and tape off, the filters installed, and plugged into power, it fired right up and started working in Auto mode. The first thing I noticed is how quiet it is, but also how gentle the air flow is (meaning it isnโt flowing much air at low speed). There was a mild smell to it from the glue on the filters, but after a few hours (maybe a day), this all cleared up (Iโve heard some with major complaints of glue/chemical smells on the AP-1512 replacement filters, so I wasnโt overly surprised). I noticed that after running for an hour or so, the color changing light for auto mode was off and the unit said it was in Mode 1 instead of Auto. I thought something was up, so I cycled through the different Modes (fan speeds) and back to Auto. It stayed there for a while and went back to Mode 1. I thought maybe I had a bad unit, so I read the manual to make sure I understood its operation. Thatโs when I found out that the manual sucks and does not have near enough information about how this unit works and I now see why there are certain questions about this unit on the Amazon product page (like which was the filters are as the label FRONT on the HEPA filter actually points to the inside of the unit, which would technically be towards the back wouldnโt it?). It turns out that the Auto mode sometimes kicks out and into a more power saving mode, and when it does this, it erroneously shows as Mode 1 (and note that when it does this, it is flowing less air and even quieter than when showing as Auto Mode with a Blue status / air quality light). When the air quality is sensed to be bad enough, it pops out of the Mode 1 and into Auto Mode, so I guess this is all normal. As many have mentioned, this unit is pretty darn quiet, except when going into high gear. At the mid-level (Mode 2 or Green air quality light), it is a bit louder, but not too bad. Mode 3 (Yellow air quality light) is much louder, but about what I expected as the AP-1512 isnโt exactly quiet when it thinks it needs to evacuate the room of all dirty air right this instant. After living with one of the Coway 150 for a couple of weeks, I ordered a second unit to go in another room (13โ x 13โ bedroom) and next to a cat litter box (to help with dust control and general air quality in the room). I noticed that itโs Auto Mode and lights worked the same as the first unit (confirming that I didnโt just get a bad unit). I also noticed that the fan motor was a bit noisier, so I was wondering about quality control of the parts used to make these units. After a few weeks though, the fan motor quieted down and is about as silent as the first unit I procured. These two units are working well and I would certainly think of getting another if needed or recommending one for another person; however, I would not recommend the 150 for anything other than a small room (like an office or regular bedroom). If you have a larger bedroom, living room, etc., then I would look at the 200M, 300 or 400 to cover the larger space as the 150 just wonโt cut it.

Works fantastic. Very happy with my purchase.
Couldnโt be happier. I have two cats and a dog. I bought three of these for different areas of the house. I have to wipe the cat hair off the front of the unit that gets sucked in and clean the pre-filter once every two weeks so I know itโs working. I also bought one of the smaller units for a different area of the house. I love the indicator light that shows the air quality. Itโs pretty quiet. The air quality indicator is red, and it turns on full blast, but it only stays on for about a minute and then slowly reduces the speed as it cleans the air.

Overhyped loud fan
This is nothing more than a fan. A loud fan. The unit didnโt pick up odor when cooking fajitas yet the unit sits in the kitchen and the smell is wafting upstairs. Itโs extremely difficult to get the particle sensor to adjust with the press power and fan mode simultaneously and wait for it flash after 2 seconds yet I did this six times before it flashed. Green light came on and then it went to blue and turned off. Itโs useless if it isnโt filtering the air. I have a different unit downstairs that wasnโt scored as high and it far exceeds this and is much better to operate. Donโt buy!

Not enough to dethrone Coway Mighty, one major flaw
Given the retail price and the smaller form factor, I figured I'd give the Coway Airmega 150 a shot. I use the Mighty (AP-1512HH) as my purifier for my bedroom, but the high power and ability to move air seemed overkill given the small 12x12 space. After receiving the Airmega 150, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and attention to detail. The aesthetic and design is perfect, however the footprint was not as small as I had hoped, even though I read the measurements. Essentially its about the same as the Mighty, but 3" less in depth. That means it will sit more flush to a wall, but likely not enough to save space. Regardless, I was happy to have something with less airflow, better suited for my bedroom. This is where I was a bit underwhelmed. When on setting 1, the fan is whisper quiet, but at 2 and 3 you can definitely hear the fan motor. While its still within the dB threshold as stated by Coway and definitely quiet, its way more noticeable than the Mighty which just sounds like air moving. This is likely due to a smaller motor working harder to power the fan, which leads to a louder overall sound. The deal breaker for me was how the purifier was designed. The front panel of the purifier separates to expose the charcoal and HEPA filter, which securely fit into place, HOWEVER, there is a seam on the edge of the purifier that is in the direct path of the fan, so air can get sucked into the sides of the purifier, escaping the filtration features altogether (see picture). While I'm sure a majority of the air will go through the face of the fan, I feel like this is a big oversight and is not ideal that non-filtered air is able to pull through the purifier. I think the design intent is that the edges of the HEPA are compressed on the front panel, however the seal is not good because a thin piece of paper held to the side of the unit sucks to the surface, indicating the fan is definitely pulling in air on the sides and directly into the unit. While I don't think this is a fatal flaw, it was enough to not make me replace the Mighty, and give my mom the Airmega 150 for her room. PROS: -Smaller footprint, but not tiny -Touch controls are perfect, light indicator is great -Ability to turn off light indicator -Quiet, but some discernable motor noise CONS: -No available filters right now (I'm sure this will change) -Sides of the purifier allow air in, unfiltered. This was overlooked and is a big flaw to me -Airflow is not as good as the mighty, but good enough for a bedroom

Silencioso, filtros grandes,eficaz.

Really makes a difference
Iโve been using the this for a few months now and Iโm honestly impressed with how well it works. Setup was really easy, just plug it in and it was ready to go. The air quality monitoring seems to work..? (not sure how accurate it is tbh) I leave it on auto mode most of the time and it adjusts the fan speed depending on the air quality, which is super convenient. Itโs quiet enough that I can leave it running while Iโm sleeping at 2nd peed button but overall it feels like it actually improves the air in my home, which is exactly what I wanted. Definitely worth it if you want something reliable and easy to use for a medium sized room. Just one thing to note is that the authentic filter for coway doesnt ship to my area for some reason

Incorrect Voltage for EU Market and Invalid Return Label
This product should not be sold in Europe (Amazon ES) because it only supports 110V. This is critical information and should have been clearly stated in the product description and instructions. Additionally, the seller has repeatedly provided an incorrect return label that only works for returns within the USA. As a result, I have been unable to return the item, which costs over 300 euros and is very heavy. I am requesting immediate assistance to resolve this issue, including providing a valid EU return label or a full refund.

Better than my $1000 Dyson HP09. An absolute lifesaver for someone who is sensitive to scents.
I have a Dyson HP09 in my bedroom that cost over $1000, and I use the Coway to clean the air in the rest of my apartment. My building uses a scented cleaning substance in the hallways and the smell drives me absolutely nuts + gives me headaches if I'm around it for too long. I am very sensitive to scented chemicals and perfumes and can catch the tiniest little whiff, but the Coway succeeds at removing all perceptible traces of the smell within my unit. While I recognize that part of the cost difference is in the fact that the Dyson it also heats / captures formaldehyde / has a fancy LED display, the fact that this little guy is less than a quarter of the price and outperforms it at cleaning air is pretty crazy. On its auto mode when the air is at steady state clean, it's also much quieter than the Dyson's equivalent auto mode. It processes odors and particulate matter much faster than the Dyson and seems to be way more sensitive - in a good way. I spray some cleaning fluid on the kitchen counter, it revs up. I heat up some food, it revs up. Someone who smokes walks into my place - it revs up. I open the apartment door for a second and let in a whiff of hallway air - it revs up. Smells never linger very long when this little guy is running, and the air quality in my unit has become noticeably fresher and cleaner. Headaches are gone. Definitely the best $250 I've spent in a long time. Sure, the Dyson looks a little cooler - but if you're after performance and value for money, the Coway Airmega 150 blows Dyson absolutely out of the water. What a wonderful little unit! So grateful that Coway made this. :)

Must have for pet owners
Love this air purifier - I have it in the laundry room by the cat litter bin, it is great at detecting slight changes in the air quality. (Such as when the cat uses the litter bin, or I clean it!) It's also very quiet when the fan is on auto mode. I am really glad I purchased this, it is a peace of mind knowing that my air is cleaner and does not smell like cat.
