It fit Craftsman
Since this part was no longer available from craftsman parts I started shopping around to find something that would work.I looked at manufacturers etc. then a light bulb came on! check amazon maybe they will have something. It didn't take long before I found this and saw that it would fit. Ordered received shortly and was surprised it was almost a copy of the original part. Very happy with it.

A Worthwhile addition.
Construction of this clamp could be better but it works satisfactorily. I recommend having using them for quality and safety reasons.

Not exactly like the one on the C12LDH
The shaft is longer and seems to be slightly smaller diameter (the C12LDH parts diagram shows this is the correct assembly) so even though it works, it angles quite a bit when tightened which means you have to turn the crank longer on the screw (it takes longer to engage and disengage the clamp).It gets one start because:1. These saws are not cheap and Hitachi should give you two vices from the get-go.2. This @#$%@#$ thing doesn't come with the M6 wing screw that would be used to hold this on the base of the saw. Even though it works without it, it takes more tightening to do so and it falls out easily when it's not engaged. That is just dumb; the screw should be included in this assembly.The price was good; that's about it.

Missing thumb screw.
Should come with one more thumb screw to attack it to the mitre saw itself. Had to go buy one at Lowe's.

Rip off again. Threaded bolt and knob not correct for my Hitachi saw. Lied to me. Usuless as bolt isn't ling enough to toghtwn aganist casting.Another bad Amazon partner.
