Unintuitive assembly, but otherwise great
The instructions are unclear, and for a few minutes I thought I was given an incorrect part. I managed to figure it out with some head scratching. The ‘branches’ are flipped so mine looks like a mirror image of the product picture but it wasn’t an issue for me. Echo dot box for scale.Edit: Reviewers that have posted after me have had massive disappointments in the instructions. They’re not wrong. The instructions suck. If you’re an engineering or maker type, you’ll be hella annoyed but you’ll figure it out.Personally, at this price point it was worth it for me. Though I wouldn’t recommend it for everyone.

Handsome handyman required!!!
The media could not be loaded. It took my husband not even 5 minutes to assemble without even using the no good direction. Be careful of screwing and unscrewing boards. This s particle boards and screws will not hold up. He used Gorilla glue to give it more strength. Job done. Thank you my handsome handy husband.

Designed backwards
The shelf was a little difficult to put together, the pre-drilled holes had a little trouble lining up, but not too bad. Once together, the shelf seems sturdy and looks really nice. My main complaint, and it is huge, is the bookshelf is designed backwards. In order to place the books on the shelf how you are supposed to the covers must be either facing down (showing the back cover), or the spines of the book must face back, showing the paged edge of the book. This is super irritating to me because I would like to be able to see my spines with the covers facing up. Other than that it's a great little bookshelf.

Perfect for my needs
So the assembly wasn't the smoothest but I expected that from the reviews before I purchased. The holes didn't line up idealy and I had to reassemble it once because the holes on one shelf were backwards. It's fun if you like puzzles lol. Just make sure you really pay attention.I needed this for my bedside table. I have very minimal space and needed something compact to help me de-clutter and I don't think I could have found something more perfect for my little space so I'm perfectly content.

Confusing to assemble but beautiful when finished - worth the purchase!
The media could not be loaded. Good product and I am happy with my purchase, but hear me out:My first impression of this product was kind of bad considering it had some minor scratches on the wood finish, but I am not picky with that and just wanted to get it over with. Then came the assembly… Confusing to say the least! Didn’t exactly fit the manual’s images. Also, some of the holes didn’t align really well with the screws so I had to loosen everything up and then “mold” it a bit myself. The end result is practically as advertised! It is sturdy and I use it to keep a couple books I have + my iPad.Overall a 7/10 only because of the early issues, otherwise a 10/10 because I REALLY like the way it looks and how well it fits my table. I recommend it!

Nifty!
How cute is this design? My only thing is that the instructions are confusing. But just play around with it and it’s easy! It’s perfect for my desk. Able to fit my current book, planner, journal, then all my school supplies for schoolwork. It’s pretty sturdy for the price you pay. Perfect!

The edges were painted green??
It’s a cute tabletop bookshelf but I really don’t understand why the edges were (poorly) painted a weird green instead of being finished with the laminate. The paint is on all four edges of each piece, too, so it wasn’t like I could orient the pieces to hide the green paint.

Very good quality
It’s surprisingly good and sturdy. Hold a lot of books and it’s not too big. It can fit even a child desk and still leave space for work. I end up buying two, one for me and one for my daughter.Only down side, there’s no instructions to put together, but it’s not hard.
