American & Efird Maxi-Lock Cone Thread, 3000-Yard, White

This brand is great! I only use this thread on my serger!

My family has been sewing for generations...... This thread has always been what my mother chose to work with and so I grew up using this particular brand. I was happy to find I could buy it online as I'm a busy mother and shopping with children is not the greatest (let's just get the grocery shopping over with). I found it exactly as I expected to, we use it mostly for dresses with mending of all kinds. Thank you!

It's pretty durable thread, I am not able to tear it with my hands as I can do with cotton threads or low quality polyester. This is alot of thread, I bought it for sewing purpose and I think I won't need to restock it any time soon.I tried to find label with thread number (weight) and I don't see it. There is a label that says 100% Polyester 3000 yards TEX27 AA White. From the look of a thread I can say that it is something around 50 x2 or 60 x2, so it's average all purpose thread for medium to light fabric.Thread does not split easily and holds together pretty fine.Overall I am pleased with what I got.

Sewing masks for healthcare workers and running out of thread constantly so this was great! My Brother sewing machine isn’t set up for this kind of spool but I just set it upright in a cup behind the machine and it works just fine!

I bought a new serger a few months ago. When I changed the thread color on the machine, I used some I had bought at a fabric store. Everytime I got it threaded and tried to use it, the thread broke. So I put the thread that came on the machine back on, it worked perfectly. I had heard of maxi-lock and had read great reviews on it. I ordered 8 spools, 4 white and 4 black. When it came I threaded the machine with it and did some adjustsments on the tension and that's all it took. I love this thread and will never use another brand. It's the best I've used so far. I would highly recommend this thread to anyone who sews.

Purchased because reviews seemed good but I want to say it’s an OK thread. I’ll use what I have but don’t think I will be purchasing again. Breaks to easy and tangles up to much as well. 3 stars from me.

Great value. Causes less lent in machine and sews well

Ok as far as thread goes. I bought it for the wrong machine but the quality is pretty good. It seems like it could be a little stronger. The color is accurate and even. It was a pain to unwrap which is why I docked the star.
