Boy, the difference between the light being on vs off is hard to discern in these pictures, but I tried a side by side anyway. We already have an overhead light above this table, so the LED clamp-on light is for more localized brightness. You can definitely tell when it's on, it's whiter & brighter. I LOVE that there are multiple joints to maneuver and twist the light wherever you want it. The design is sleek, and the joints hold without having to twist and clamp things down super tight. There are four settings (bright, medium, lower light, and off). I've only used bright so far. The clamp works great under the edge of my Ikea table. I really like how the clamp style lights keep the tabletop more free.

Works well on a flat table, I wanted it for my drafting table which works well (light), except its attached to the top of the drafting table and there is no way to lock it to the left or right, always swings back to the center of gravity. I use a string to hold it to the side in place. Wish it had a locking clamp to hold it in place.

The media could not be loaded.  Not as functional for verticals desk use as I would like, see my video. The joint on the head cannot be adjusted in the away from me/towards me when rotated to the vertical position. If i move it away from/to me at the base, then the head is at an odd angle and I get a warped view through the lens. Not as bright as I anticipated, but it’s ok. When the head is vertical, it will not stay put at the up and down angle. So I have to anticipate that, and adjust the other joints accordingly.

I work on small electronics and have for 25 years. This is the first light I have ever bought that stays put. It has a perfect range of motion and no matter what height or how far out you extend it or how low, it stays put. Very nice light and good magnification. The dust cover is nice to keep the lens clean. I'm going to order more. Couldn't be more satisfied and it cost less than 1/4 of one I purchased from a medical supply store and works 10 times better.

I've only had this a couple of days but so far I like it. It has a nice big magnifying glass (larger than the Dritz portable one I've been using) and the light is nice and bright - it can be dimmed by pressing the button.The overall quality seems good and it's heavier than I expected. The clamp opens pretty wide, which is a reason I chose this one. I'm pleased with it.

This is the perfect light and magnifying lamp. I use it during facials and waxing. Love this lamp!

Seems good. It reaches better than folds back. For me the 4 light settings not really needed

The light bulb is not replaceable. The whole thing will have to be replaced if the bulb burns out.
