Is it just a round Band-Aid? If not, what makes this better? Thanks.

It looks like band-aid but is more gentle on the skin, doesn't pull the hair and doesn't irritate the nipples. My husband likes it just wish was less $$ because it's just a piece of tape.

It says it can be used for yard work? Has anyone had any experience using it this way?

I have never used these for yard work... but I have used them to run multiple marathons, which are very sweaty and movement filled adventures. These are great... I am sure they would be equally good for yard work.

I have a hairy chest - would this work for me?

Yes, the sticker portion goes around the nipple, I am hairy chested myself and utilize easily.

Is this good for casual use? Like to prevent nipples from showing through shirts?

Absolutely. In fact, this is one of the primary features of the product. NipEaze helps conceal under lightweight or sheer clothing, yet doesn't completely flatten which promotes a more natural look.
