For the price this is great and just what we needed for removing oil from our boat engine. Would recommend!

Easy to assemble even easier to use. Oil changed in Lawn mower done in a couple of minutes. Clean tidy and simple.

Did the job but when put under pressure sides caved in a bit having said that it did do the job and I was happy overallok for a small DIY job

I bought this to change the oil in the lawnmower. Instructions say tip the mower and pour the old oil out, which to do safely without risking injury or spilling the oil would probably require 3 people... But using this I was able to easily remove all of the oil, as was demonstrated by the fact that the mower says it takes 600ml of oil, the 600ml bottle of new oil that I bought filled it to the exact correct level on the dipstick, and then the old oil exactly filled that bottle, ready to take to the tip. I didn't get any oil on me or on the floor or anywhere else it wasn't meant to go, not a drop, brilliant. Easy to clean afterwards, ready for next year...TIPS: run the engine for a minute or two to warm the oil up, makes it much easier to get the last drops out, and then stand with the bottle gripped between your feet, this leaves you one hand to manipulate the pipe and the other to work the pump.

i used this pump to suck diesel back through a volvo v50 fuel pump to bleed air out of the fuel system on its last few bubbles it failed and came apart, the bottle had shrunk to quarter of its size due to the immense suction power needed for a 2 litre volvo xD other than that it was cheap affordable and did the job

The standard car dip stick tube is 6mm ID yet the pipe supplied is 8mm OD ie: too big. The instructions are short relying on the user to figure it out. A tube is supplied to couple a larger dia tube but not smaller.I've had to purchase a clear 6mm OD tube (£6) to try and couple it to the too large 8mm OD tube supplied.This is the second car oil suction device from Amazon that does not work. The previous one was an electric pump (£25) advertised with glowing claims, but it failed to function at all, then after a day I managed to get it to function, but the sucktion was so poor I put it in the dustbin (one day old, and junk).

I wouldn't have used a syringe to suck half of the excess oil out initially, if I knew this would work this good. Good value for money.

Worked well first time I used it but the seals appear to have perished from the diesel fuel and now it no longer works.its a shame they didnt use the appropriate materials.
