How do I light up both external monitors?

In Windows, open Settings ▸ System ▸ Display. You can also hold down the Win + P keys and select Extend. For ChromeOS, select Quick Settings ▸ Displays and choose Extend.

Will this work on a MacBook (Intel, M-series)?

Apple systems are not recommended. For macOS users,we recommend the USBC-6950M

Does this adapter charge my laptop?

No. The adapter only adds video outputs; it does not pass USB-C Power Delivery.
