Worthy investment
I've purchased this stand (and the ceramic insert) for multiple pets. I ordered this one to be a water bowl and it's HUGE, which is exactly what I wanted. The stand is sturdy and well built. Although I've only had this one for a short while, all the others have held up without a mark on them for years. I've bought them for friends as well. The rubber feet have stayed in place without any problems. Very easy to clean with a sponge and dish soap or whatever you prefer. My dog is not a chewer, but I could see where the "bone" handles might be appealing to puppies or chewers so maybe hold off until they're through the om-a-nom-a phase. You can use these stands without the ceramic insert if your dog has a short snout. For my Shihtzu I put a shallow bowl in it and it works great.

Good pet bowl riser
These pet bowl risers are perfect to get your dog's bowl up and off the floor but with a very solid foundation (i.e. they won't tip them over). I have found it will take any bowl that is approximately the correct size so don't feel like you have to use the one made by the company who sells this pet bowl riser. What's really nice about this is that since you are using a separate food bowl, you just pop the bowl out to clean it and then can put it back in the space when you're ready to feed your dog again. Very easy...and sanitary.

Great bowl
This bowl is wonderful. It's good looking, a bit off the floor and angled toward my dog, which is unique, hard plastic that cleans easily but somehow also isn't noisy when you pour dry food into it. My weird dog, who won't eat from a bowl he doesn't like, happily ate from this one right away with no hesitation.

happy pups!
I really like this product. Our two large dogs were eating from stainless bowls but they slid all over the floor and they were too low for them on the floor. The dogs didn't like other stands we had tried. Their bowls fit perfectly in the large size yoga bowl and they don't slide around, plus they're raised up a bit for our tall dogs.

This bowl has worked wonderfully, she is drinking much better
I purchased this bowl to provide an elevated water bowl for my Yorkinese (Yorkie and Havanese mix). She was having coughing and choking problems after drinking water from a bowl placed on floor. She would not drink water from the provided bowl, I had provided a bucket of water outside, which she did drink from. This bowl has worked wonderfully, she is drinking much better. The most surprising thing, my Frenchie, who has been drinking from the previous bowl of water for 6 1/2 years, immediately abandoned the floor level floor and starting drinking from the Yoga bowl. Who knew he was unhappy with the water source. He never said a word.

I was so excited to see something like this bowl for our two elderly labs
I was so excited to see something like this bowl for our two elderly labs. We have 3 large dogs total, the largest is over 80lbs so a big bowl that I wouldnt' have to refill multiple times a day for the three of them was necessary. Our oldest two labs are 70 and 80lbs and one is over 3ft tall, her arthritis is so bad that her back legs shake and quiver and slide while she is bending down to the ground to eat. Currently we have their bowls raised off the ground on flipped-over tupperware boxes, so that the bottom of the bowl is about 6" off the ground. Our main reason for buying these bowls were to get rid of the tupperware boxes which are holding spilled water and moisture under and the mildew smell comes and goes. These bowls would have been excellent except that they are still pretty much touching the ground so we still would have needed the tupperware containers to raise them up. Therefore, due to these circumstances, we are returning the bowls. We have looked at the wire/iron/wooden raised bowl sets however none seem sturdy enough for three large dogs, and the bowls aren't big enough, especially for water. So until something else looks like it will work better and cleaner for us, we are sticking with our old-school flipped over tupperware totes!

Looks Cool
I got this because my youngest dog, about 2, can't seem to close her mouth after she drinks and we get water drops all over the laminate flooring. I thought being up higher would help, it does, but only a little. The large size seems really big, but it makes a statement and holds the amount of water we need for 4 dogs — I think it was 70 oz. The look is great, the orange is nice and orange & matches my orange kitchen. I could see the benefit of feeding your dog out of the raised bowl too, and the design really just spices up that doggie area.
