Will this help with acne?

Yes, it would be great for body acne. Yes tree oil is great for acne! But this isn’t as gentle as a face wash but you can use it for one, just moisturize well after you use it! Keep your skin really moisturized when you have acne so your skin doesn’t produce even more oil. I would suggest a salicylic face wash, then a oil-free and non-comedogenic moisturizer and spot tree your acne/white heads/black heads with pure tee tree oil, but it can be very strong smelling. You could always use a tee tree toner as well. So you’d use a face wash, then use tee tree toner, and then moisturize.
But honestly I have had awful acne since I was about 20 and I have finally found a routine that keeps my skin clear besides the occasional zit or two, usually right before my period. In the AM I use cerave benzoyl peroxide face wash, then Neutrogena pore refining toner (it has glycolic acid, lactic acid and salicylic acid in it), and then cerave or Cetaphil lightweight facial moisturizer. Then at night after I remove my make up with a cleansing oil, using Burt’s bees right now, I use the same benzoyl peroxide wash (also acne free makes a great one too!), then a serum, that has vita c, salicylic acid, retinol, Vitamin E and other stuff, every other night. The nights I don’t use the serum I use a 10% benzoyl peroxide treatment in my problem areas or where I usually break out. I finish up with a night cream that’s oil free and non comedogenic, I’m using a cerve one right now. And I use tea tree oil body wash for my bac-ne, aka back acne, and the acne on my chest and it works great! 
Also if it’s bad see your doctor and they might have suggestions based on your skin type and type of acne! Hope this all helps! I know it’s a lot of info, I just know how hard the struggle with acne can be and wanted to give you ideas of what might work! Good luck with your pores!

No sulfates?  what is sodium myreth sulfate doing in the ingredient list?

To the person who claimed it didn't say "no sulfates" but instead "no harsh sulfates", you need to look at the front of the container. It does indeed say "no sulfates".
