PRO ARTNewsprint Paper Roll, Natural, 15-Inch by 100-Feet

I love this product for drawing in charcoal! Its texture is perfect and the price is great; I cannot find anything comparable in Europe. It is a pity that this one is no longer available. I hope they sell it again some time soon

Every time they take the 18x24 pad out of the store (when it says 'Out of stock', or 'Not currently available'), they up the price by 5€ afterwards. In the US stores, and on dickblick this pad costs around $12. Let this sink in. I can't shop at dickblick, since I'm from Germany, and the shipping would be hundreds of dollars high, but I'm not going to be a slave to these prices.When I found this pad a few months ago, the original price was at 16€ I believe. That was totally fine. But then they upped the price every few weeks/months, and now It's at 30€!The quality is absolutely unrivaled, hence the 5/5 stars, but still doesn't justify such a ridiculous price!

Now that Amazon has corrected the pricing on this smooth Newsprint, 5 Stars. Best smooth newsprint on the market for drawing, I highly recommend it.Original Review:Excellent smooth newsprint now at an absurd price!I originally purchased this Product for CND$ 12.31 a pad of 50 sheets approx 6 months ago, when I order I usually buy in bulk, the purpose of using this paper for artists is the fact it is high quality but still very economical for doing 100s of drawings, it is the standard for many Ateliers.Amazon is now asking more than twice that for a pad of 50 sheets, I have purchased this paper elsewhere for anywhere between 12-14 dollars a pad and was very pleased when amazon.ca started carrying this product as I buy it frequently but at $25.18 a pad, I won't be purchasing from amazon.ca any time soon!

I use this paper for art projects of my kids. I cover my kitchen table in it and let my kids go to town with markers, crayons, bingo dabbers, etc. The paper isn't glossy so the marker doesn't rub off and it's thick enough that it doesn't get soggy from paint. It's fantastic and priced well.
