Buxton Heiress Zip French Purse Wallet

I’ve used these French Purses for 10 + years, replacing as they wore out (I’m hard on my wallet) the new one I ordered in 2022 was CRAP! It is not the same wallet I bought three years ago. I was so disappointed I cried and wonder who on earth authorized the unneeeded changes. DONT fix it when it ain’t broke! My wallet is now in bad shape but I won’t buy a new one, sooooo disappointed in the cheap thing they sent this time. Maybe for $10 but $30? I think not.

this is my amazon pick of the year as far as a great productthis is the BEST purchase ive made all year & i am very happy with this "mini purse" my mom hasnt received it yet but I opened it & made sure it was something that would work for her with her disabilities i was pleasantly surprised at the excellent quality of the leather & the roominess of this little purse its very well made & the price was so low..i had ordered this for my mother because her hands are so crippled with arthritis that she could no longer even open an old fashioned style clasp on her purse & shes partially blind so i needed a small change purse that would be easy for her to open & that she can carry in her pocket because shes older now & cannot carry a "normal" purse anymore & this is a GREAT BUY..it far exceeded my expectations & now i want one for every female family member including myself.i love the design

This wallet is very pretty in the picture. In person, however, it leaves much to be desired. Buxton's craftsmanship has really gone down the toilet. The "accordian" card holder, I at first thought was ripped. I guess it was supposed to be that way.The 3 card slots - my cards won't fit in there at all. I'm thinking they were made too small, unless whoever/whatever made it didn't allow for seam allowance.The outside of the wallet does not feel like quality leather. The inside of the wallet feels like plastic and vinyl.This wallet is certainly nothing to write home about. Sorely disappointing. Don't even waste any more time looking at this listing.

Genuine leather wallets with zippered coin compartments are a must have. Not crazy about the section for credit cards, it's plastic and the slots are so big that things fall out whenever the wallet is open, so I stuff a few things into other nooks and crannies and that section stays empty. Unfortunately it can't be removed. Previous similar Buxton leather wallets have lasted several years so hoping this will be similarly durable.Update: Wallet still looks good two years later. Still annoyed about the credit card compartment.

Great little wallet. Just the size and quality I was looking for. Not so bulky like my previous wallet yet holds all my money and cards.

It is a good wallet. The only thing is that not all the material is leather.
