Illumination Hipster Panties, Silky Stretch & Satin Trim

Vanity Fair makes a good product, in my opinion. I’ve got a few pairs in different styles and like them all. The ones being reviewed here are the Illumination Hipster and the color choice was the rose stripes. I love these. I think they super cute and they’re very comfortable for all day wear. I didn’t notice them once from morning til night. These are hipsters so they don’t have as low a rise as, say tangas or bikinis, but they’re not briefs either. I’d say they’re a mid-rise. In the back, they are absolutely full coverage so, no “cheeky” panties here. As far as comfort, there’s plenty of stretch for male wearers like myself, so if you’re a man, these would be fine. And the fabric, mostly nylon and spandex, is soft to the skin and yet breathable, in my opinion. I also find the gusset area, with its cotton lining to be extremely comfortable- not too narrow like some other panties. I haven’t noticed and panty lines showing, but I wouldn’t be surprised if someone had that experience due to the elastic around the entire edge of these, waist and legs. Though, in this case, I wouldn’t be worried about any VPL because of where they sit - the back leg seams rest pretty much where a lot of male briefs would sit, so that would be indistinguishable from the male version, with the possible exception of the gusset seam across the bottom. But you’d have to be looking pretty closely and with the right kind of pants to notice that. Overall, a very nice panty, comfortable both in fit and fabric, and super cute colors and patterns.

These panties are so comfortable and lightweight.

Love these hipsters! Have never found hipsters that fit appropriately but these are great. Other hipsters become bikinis within an hour! These stay in place. I love the texture and have purchased them in several different colors. The black ones are true black. They are worth the money to have a perfect fit. I weigh 132lbs and 5’ 3” tall. I bought a size 7 and it fit Perfect!

It's my fault for not looking at the picture closely enough. I really need a couple more inches in fabric from side hip to side waist. The fabric is soft and washes nicely and the size fits.....just now long enough. Colors are also nice.

Simple, basic undies that are comfortable all day. Nothing fancy but comfort is a must!

UPDATE: I tried to love this underwear but I’ve gone through two sets now and after about a year of wearing the elastic around the legs and top starts to unravel and then you constantly have strings hanging - have to cut the strings but they keep on coming. Otherwise I like them but I don’t like throwing underwear out after a year and I don’t like having strings hanging from them either! Try something else! I’ve been searching for a comfortable, less expensive alternative to the $30/ pair underwear I’ve been wearing for years and I’ve tried so many brands that I didn’t like for one reason or another. I’m so excited about these underpants cause I don’t even know I have them on when I’m wearing them…soft, silky, no VPL, and a great value. I ordered 2 pair and will be ordering more right away- great colors to choose from and at this price I can have one for every day of the week. I am 5’6” tall and weigh 120# and I ordered a size 5 and they fit perfectly! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
