I took a change and got a "used" version - this is for the most part fine but did not include the bars that the description lists, but the price reflects that. The fabric is thick and stretchy and definitely wicks away water. I have a large sofa with curved back/arms and the XL size works pretty well. It took some effort to tuck everything in to look decent, but I am overall happy with this purchase. I am not trying to trick anyone in to thinking this is not a cover - even with all the adjusting, that is still pretty obvious, but it covers up the stains on my old couch and also makes cleaning easy when my kids/pets spill on this one. Extra pillow and a throw help!

The water resistance is not bad for a very stretchy fabric that retains its shape, even after multiple hot water washes. The colors are bright and vibrant extremely close to the pictures. The BEST part it can take a beating! I bought this to protect my living room set from my two 50lb rambunctious puppies, who jump on and off while playing and often find them chewing bones up there and not a single tear or even pull line and it's been on for 3months now, with a hot water wash once a week. Will buy again for all furnishings that will have pet exposure!

I’m writing this review because I really like the feel of this cover. I am sending it back because it is too small. Just make sure you measure the length and you should be happy with it. The color is actually quite nice.

I bought this for my Loveseat to have a new look since the cats have scratched it up. It doesn't fit as well as I thought it would it is a little baggy in the arm rest part, it does look nice and it stays in place. The cats have not scratched a hole in it so it does seem pretty durable. When you wash it keep an eye on washing machine as it is very heavy when wet, also very hard to dry its best to hang outside on a very warm sunny day to make sure it dries.

Really like the material. It’s soft and stretchy. The white holders don’t do to much when multiple people sit on the couch. They kinda just pop out.

This is a very well made couch cover that has water repelling properties that prevent any wet problems from reaching the surface of the couch. The material makes it a little hard, & unfortunately for me? This couch cover is designed for a very standard, European style couch because of their “usual” narrow arms.. Because our couch has very puffy arm rests? The cover doesn’t fit property, & that’s why I only gave it four stars… It stretches really well, just not far enough for this case, nor should it!! Because if it was designed for a couch like the ones I’m envisioning in my mind? It’ll fit perfectly, & be very flexible while providing the waterproof technology. Which is better than grandma’s 3mm clear plastic wrap that is normally used. You know what I’m talking about.. That clear, sticky plastic that would get stuck to every inch of your bare skin if it came into contact with it? You’ll love this if it fits your couch, I can say that..Hope this helped-

This is one of the lowest priced covers I've seen, so I didn't expect it to be amazing. It's definitely not pet hair friendly. My dog doesn't even have to get on the couch for his fur to stick to the cover. It doesn't stay put very well, but the elastic keeps it from popping off the couch. It's just like a big giant floating fabric that bunches up and moves around. All in all a great value option to protect the furniture, but based on the pilling I'm already seeing I'd say it will only last about 6 months tops.

This cover is a life saver for our leather couch in the motorhome. We have a 90 pound German Shepherd and the couch is his domain… we tried to cover it with blankets but they were always slipping off, so we bought the cover and it fit like a dream to protect the couch from the dog’s nails and dirt. We still cover with the blankets but now they do not slip off!

This sofa cover is exactly what I was looking for - waterproof, and it covers the entire sofa and not just a small part of it. This cover is flexible with sofas of different sizes and shapes - you can tuck any extra fabric into the gaps between cushions and the seat and backrest so that it looks nice and tidy. It's easy to wash and dry and perfect for protecting the sofa from pets.My cat's claws did pierce the waterproof layer but I expected this as he can get pretty excited and rough with his claws when playing on the sofa. So be aware that it won't hold up against cat claws, but it does great for protecting against spills, dust, crumbs...etc.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm pleasantly surprised, I didn't have high hopes for a couch cover looking nice. But this is a life saver having pets, and it actually fits I got the oversized one hoping I could just tuck the extra in, and not have it pop out of place when people would sit on it, it worked!! Fits well and looks decent. So happy we have a way to "throw our couch in the washer" now. 5 stars! I'll be buying another one for our other couch.

This couch cover is awesome. We bought this because our dog is up on the couch as soon as she came in from outside. During the winter, with snow and then slush on the ground, and even after drying her, she was still wet, and right on the couch she goes. This cover kept the couch dry, its a wonderful cover for my big Husky pup to lie on. Thanks

I spent more than I wanted on this but it does exactly what I need it to do. It also doesn’t slip off like others do

The texture feels like it’s waterproof, with a backing layer. The fabric is thick and the red color is beautiful! A bright nice color to have. Waterproof or not is to be tested later on :D
