Set of 12 Assorted TUFF Tape Patches for Tent Repairs - Waterproof, Self-Adhesive, Durable - Essential for Outdoor Adventures

None of our puffer jackets are without holes. Instead of buying new ones to replace, I've decided to find a Youtube video on patching up buffer jackets. Initially I thought this would be done with threads and needles. The first video I found was using this adhesive tape. Having the process demo'd in a video I found the process manageable and decided to give this product a try. The first hole I tried to patch took a few tries but as soon as you get one done properly, patching up other holes are a cinch. So, my advice is to watch the Stormsure's video first and see if that's something you want to do before buying this product.There are other adhesive tapes that you just stick on the outside of the puffer jacket as a cover. Those types you generally have to try to colour match. Personally I think that's not much better than putting a piece of gaffer tape on your jacket. For me, I prefer a more discrete repair, which this product gives.I have now done 5 patch jobs and each one have come out brilliantly. A couple of washes later the patches are still intact and discrete... This product is ace. 5*

Bought this to repair my down walking jacket but lost them so bought some more! Works a treat!

i tried to repair my wellington boots, cleaned as the directions indicated and smoothed out all air bubbles and within 6 hours the patch fell off. what a waste of good money, i used the boots for just 30 minutes.

Bought to fix a jacket that had been torn. Had difficulty peeling off the pieces and ended up having to cut a large piece as none of them would peel off the paper. Looks terrible, think a piece of Cellotape would have been more effective. Did think it was probably user error put despite numerous attempts with pieces that were left, looks terrible

Didn't stay sticking

I bought this in 2023 to do repairs to puffer jacket the packet is different from the one that I'm supposedly of ordered it's a different color and it says 12 self adhesive strong waterproof repair patches. I couldn't use it then because I couldn't get anything off the backing sheet that was sticky. I came to use it again today which is now a year on but I still can't get the patches off without them just being a paper backing. Useless.

I tried this a few times on a jacket and it’s not not stick and lifts at the edges

Doesn't work on rubber boots, and this was the response from their customer service. Not overly helpful.Hi Christopher,The reason for this is you are applying the tape to an area that bends and should be fixed with glue instead of tape. Tape will not work on shoes.
