Great for getting sliding shelves into swinging racks where the rails can't go deep enough
I was able to get a minimum 15" depth sliding shelf securely mounted at all 4 corners by extending the rails 2-3" with one of these kits. It gave me a lot more confidence to put an expensive NAS on the shelf that I can easily pull out to adjust the network connections and additional ports on the back.

Expensive, but..
Built well and when you need it the price premium stings but solves a problem.
