I purchased this entertainment center after downsizing from a large home to a townhouse. It easily accommodates my 40-inch flat screen TV and I fits perfectly into the corner of the room. I like the fact that is it composed of real wood instead of particle board. I plan to stain it to match the color scheme in my living room. The instructions were clear for the most part and the holes for the screws were perfectly aligned so assembly was easy. Don't you hate with you have to struggle to line up the holes and the screws won't go in straight?! Anyway, the only instructions that weren't clear were the drawer assembly section. It was not clear which was the front of the drawer railing and which was the back. Of course I guess incorrectly and the draw would not seat into the guide rails. After removing the screws, switching the side and putting the screws back in the drawer went in easily. The shelving on along each side are a bit small and I'm not sure what I will use them for, but they add a nice visual accent. I would recommend this item.

Overall this is a great piece of furniture. I painted the pieces before assembly and touch up after it was put together. I only had 2 minor but fixable issues. The drawer hardware on 1 side was bent and had to be worked with in order for it to even go into its spot. The way it was bent all the way down and at the same angle made it appear to have been done during assembly of hardware, therefore quality control should have caught this, but mistakes happen and I was able to fix it. I had to use wood filler as there was what appeared to be a mis-cut on one of the middle shelves, which is pictured below. A little more work for me, but I am very happy with the finished product. This is also a great price, I looked at finished furniture and couldn't find anything I liked that was also affordable and decent quality. Although this came with a drawer pull, I jazzed it up a little with something more decorative.

This all-wood (no pressed wood by-products) International Concepts unfinished cabinet is just what I needed and it looks great! (see photo)A 40x28x14" box arrived on my front porch about a week before the projected delivery date. It was heavy; so I had my son help me carry it into the garage. I opened it and found the instructions and hardware bag quickly. Some washers had escaped, but I found them all in the box. There were no missing or broken parts.PACKAGING: Kudos to the packaging engineer! It was packed in pieces in a heavy-duty cardboard box, and contained very few, but biodegradable, foam elements.ASSEMBLY: The assembly instructions were well-organized and easy to follow. I chose to stain the unfinished wooden pieces before assembly and used a Minwax "Gunstock 231" stain that I had on hand. After it dried I compared the color to my other pieces and found that the stain was too "red." I then gave the pieces a coat of "Golden Oak" stain, which added yellow.I then assembled the cabinet. All of the holes were lined up, but the rear slats required that I loosen some screws in order to slightly adjust some pre-installed cleats. NOTE: Do not fully tighten the screws until everything is put together! I used a 1" hole bit to drill into the rear slats for added wire access. And I went down to the hardware store and bought a metal knob for the drawer rather than use the supplied wooden knob.All in all, I am please with the product quality and the price.

This TV stand looks really nice in my apartment and saves a lot of room. I stained it which took quite a bit of time and effort (about 2 days) but was worth it. I took one star off because it was delivered without instructions and one piece was slightly damaged. I asked if the instructions could be sent separately but that wasn't possible; I would of had to return the whole thing and ask for a new one. So, I chose to put it together on my own which didn't take as long as expected but I ended up with a lot of hardware that doesn't seem to fit anywhere...It's still holding up fine though!! The cubbies on the side are a bit small and seem more appropriate to hold small decorative items. My 42 inch TV fits perfectly and overall I'm happy with the piece.

Bottom base was not measured correctly, although didn’t know at the time. . It’s one of the last pieces. Finished it all and ready to slide in the drawer. First, the rails on the drawer were pre assembled backwards on the drawer. After I fixed that, No way did the drawer slide in more than 1/4th of the way. While all pieces at this point were all in alignment, the space for the drawer was too narrow. Frustrated I flipped the stand upside down and unscrewed pieces in reverse order. Was able to insert the drawer successfully and began retightening the frame. 1 screw at a time moving left to right crossways until done and the draw still worked. Now to place back the final base. Not happening. That’s the piece that no longer fit. I got 75% enough to hold but still slightly off. Pay the bucks to have someone do it

This is such a nice stand!! I haven’t finished it yet but I love it already! It’s made to go in the corner but it looks great just up against one of my bedroom walls. I’m probably going to get another one for another room soon.

It’s small. The dimensions were somewhat confusing as to what size it really it. I haven’t stained it yet. But will soon now that the weather is better.

This is a lovely piece, easy to put together. The instructions are clear, the holes line up nicely, and the pieces were all there. The wood is as nice as the picture shown. (I've had pieces that looked pretty in the pictures and then came with more knots than wood.)My only problem came from not realizing that the tiny shelves on the sides are shaped slightly differently and will not fit if put in upside down. This is not a design flaw and proves that the whole thing is assembled precisely.
