This stuff is great. Horses don’t like the flavor, but if you soak their feed, you can hide it in there. My horse had colic-like symptoms weekly- diarrhea, laying down, stomach hurts. I had him on this for a few months and he slowly came back to life! Gained weight, no more diarrhea and he feels great.

My horse has a marked change in personality upon the use of this powder. She's calmer and also more friendly. It's very effective for her. I mix with her pellets and she eats it with no problems. She also does not bite at her belly anymore. I am very happy with this product for her.

I’m going to give this product four stars ONLY because I have had problems getting my chow hound draft pony to actually ingest it with his feed. Not much palatability apparently. I actually only give one scoop to him and the bag suggests four for a horse his size. That being said, I noticed a difference in my horses stall within two to three weeks. My guy has always had very loose piles, and a messy stall because of the frequency of his BM’s, and after about two and a half weeks I noticed a HUGE difference in his stall. I actually thought he was colicky because he went from half a dozen or more piles to just a few. They are also of a more normal consistency than I have ever seen from him. I am very happy with this product and will continue to use it. It is obvious there are some healing benefits that come with using it, and it is worth him being picky now and then about eating it all!

My 20ish year old draft horse had developed Cushings and was having heaves during the humid summers. With Cushings they don't shed well so I would shave this huge horse. I noticed in the spring this year that he had the runs and wanted to try something other than Metamucil. I stumbled on Daily Gold and gave it a try. Ya'll, after a couple of weeks the runs were gone and he was shedding! Before I gave him the Daily Gold I thought I was going to have to shave him again, and now he's totally shedded out and looks great! I have to put him on steroids for his breathing but it was the end of July before we had to start those again. It's absolutely amazing the difference this product has made. I highly recommend it!

My horse was not eating as well as I would have liked. He's older and frequently loses weight over winter from lack of grazing but always puts it back on come spring. This year he didn't put the weight on had a loss of appetite even with hiqh quality feed, forage, and having his teeth floated. I tried other products such as probiotics, ulcer supplements, vitamins, etc, and nothing helped. One week on this and he was back to eating heartily and steadily gaining weight. I was giving it to him twice a day in his feed and he doesn't like the powder much but he gets enough feed that he will still finish it. He is down to just once a day now and still eating well and gaining weight.
