Great little depth finder reads bottom great. I used industrial velcro to mount it to my kayak everything works my only complaint is that the pictures is somewhat blocky so when you dont have the fish indicator on its hard to tell if there are fish actually in that cover. If they are suspened around though then its ok!

For the price this is a great product, I kayak with it, love the water temp and depth guage. Simple to use, Good price.

Boyfriend was not pleased with this. Come to find out it needed batteries and that's why he didn't like it. He wanted one that he could charge.

False readings even when I thought it was working. Usually reads 3-4 feet deeper then actual depth. Now reads steady 180-200 ft even after changing settings. Used a few times, never dropped, never got wet, stored batteries separate, and took all precautions to protect it. Pretty disappointed overall. Going to buy an ice fishing portable depth finder to use for summer and winter as I know the brand I want works. Don't waste your time otherwise.

all functions performed as described and did what I expected it to do. good bottom id and structure plotting. 30 years deep sea and fresh water, portability a plus.
