Magic bug attractors
This is my second round ordering and I LOVE these. Sometimes the sticker is a little hard to remove in one go, but ultimately they pull off every time. I use them in each of my plants after I used bug infested soil and within a DAY these stickers worked like magic.

A safe and effective way to control flying pests
Iโve only had these for a few days but Iโve had some success with gnat and fly reduction. Our summer is late arriving but I know Iโll be swarmed with the hotter weather. Iโve always used a plug in with a blue light with sticky pads and I usually change them every 10 days when the pad is full. Iโm hoping the addition of these cute butterfly shaped sticky pads will trap even more. Iโve added them to my African Violets, around my plug in night lights-and have already seen a few little fliers stuck! For the low price, I am very happy with the quality and ease of use. Since I have pets, itโs vital that I use a safe method for pest control and this product fits my needs. Highly recommended!

Great product
This product works great. I had gnats in the soil and they were too numerous to control and I didn't want to add chemicals to the soil. This product arrived, was very easy and simple to tear off the paper cover and place in the soil. It catches so many of these gnats. I no longer see numerous gnats rising off the plants when I would move them. I highly recommend.

Goodbye Gnats!
Doesn't get rid of your gnat problem but keeps things under control. I have several plants around my house and usually run into a gnat problem a few times a year. These traps do the job and it's really satisfying to see how many bugs they will catch. For the cheap cost, these are worth it but again, they don't get to the source of the problem so you will most likely have to resort to other measures to eradicate the pests. The best part is that there is no mess and they can be tossed in the trash when you're done!

REALLY WORKS! DOES EXACTLY WHAT IT SAYS IT WILL DO AND YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE!
What a pleasure to write a review for a product that does exactly what it says it will do and at a very reasonable price! For $7.99 plus tax you get 40 of these sticky yellow butterflies which are meant to catch gnats, fruit flies and other pesky little flying bugs. We were plagued with an infestation of fruit flies and I do not use the word "plagued" lightly. I have no idea where they came from (we keep a very clean house) but one day there seemed to be hundreds of them everywhere - especially congregating near the kitchen sink. Following some online instructions we concocted a mixture of apple cider vinegar with a little sugar and a dark of dish soap in a plastic container, covered it with Saran Wrap, and poked small holes in the top. The idea behind this is that the bugs are attracted to the smell of the mixture, they enter the container through the small holes but then get trapped inside and cannot get out. This worked to capture a very few of the fruit flies but the problem persisted until we added these sticky butterflies to the top of each jar that contained the mixture. The result was almost immediate! Within minutes we had several dozen of these fruit flies stuck to the yellow butterflies - see attached (somewhat disgusting) photos. We placed a few of these butterflies in different locations throughout the house - including in the soil of our house plants - and each butterfly managed to trap at least some of the tiny bugs - though none came close to the one we put in the kitchen sink. I don't know if this will completely alleviate our problem, but so far these sticky butterflies have gone a long way to getting rid of dozens of the nasty bugs. If you have a fruit fly or gnat problem, I can highly recommend these sticky butterflies as an inexpensive fix that really works!

Traps Gnats!
These work very good at trapping the soil fungus gnats. I bought some Miracle Grow soil that obviously had gnat eggs in it so after transplanting some plants I suddenly had gnats. I bought these traps hoping it would catch them and boy it sure has. These traps have nearly ended the gnat infestation and I only had to use 4 of the 40 they give you. Highly recommend!

They WORK! The next morning there were lots stuck!
They work! Oh my gosh I am so excited. It seemed like they weren't sticking to them throughout the day. I was worried that I don't have the kind of gnats that aren't attracted to these things. I still just left them in 2 pots. Only one gnat had been stuck to one of them all day and the other had zero all day. I was starting to think that it was a fluke that maybe it just accidentally flew into it. I wake up this morning and this is what I see. Lots of them! On both of the sticky butterflies that I put into pots there was a bunch of gnats stuck to them. I only took a picture of one though. I don't think you really need to see that they're on both LOL. And it comes with a cute little shovel to help you dig down to put them into the soil. Super cute. But, be forewarned that the shovel handle comes apart from the spade very easily. I had to get me some e6000 glue and glue it together so that it would stop coming apart. I'm not mad. But you might be mad if you don't have glue on hand, which is why I think you should know. I also like that they're a bit decorative so it doesn't just look like this nasty fly trap in my potted plants. Them being in the shape a little butterflies helps bring a little charm to the practicality of the product. So I appreciate that. It's going to take me a little while to get through all 40 of these babies, but I would definitely buy this product again!

Effective for reducing knats in the house
These are the best gnat traps for my indoor plants and they are so effective. I got these traps because I had a big gnat problem in my house with my indoor plants. I was repotting soil and nothing seemed to be working until I got these. There was a visible, significant change after just week one on these things. Apparently gnats are most attracted to yellow and I think that is why they were the most effective. These things are extremely sticky, so be careful when putting them in because if it falls on the dirt, there is going to be so much dirt stuck on the sticky parts. Luckily there isn't any odor on these traps. If I had to point out a downside for these traps, it's that they are difficult to put into the dirt. The bottom part is so flimsy and it can be very difficult for it to stand when trying to put it in the soil. I've had to put it up against the pot in order for the trap to be effective. Other than that, it is a great product for a good price.
