The Haglofs Roc Icon GORE-TEX Walking Boots feature a Gore-Tex Performance Comfort lining. This ensures that the shoe is completely waterproof, allowing you to remain dry in wet conditions. The lining also features a moisture-absorbing layer, wicking sweat and water away from the foot as quickly as possible to provide comfort whilst you hike. The upper is constructed from a water-repellent suede, protecting your foot from light showers whilst giving you a great range of motion. To protect your feet from the rugged trail, a Vibram Ibex Outsole and sticky rubber components provide excellent traction and durability. The toe and heel of the shoe has been reinforced with rubber, increasing protection from rocks, branches and other debris you may encounter on the trail. The shoe also provides a variety of comfort features. Research shows that incorrect alignment of the foot, caused by either overpronation, supination, a low or high arch, or poorly supportive shoes can lead to injury. The Haglofs Custom Comfort footbed is designed with an orthopaedic shape that supports the whole foot. A well-constructed arch supports the foot and preventing arch collapse. A deep, rigid heel cup offers stability for your foot inside the shoe and reinforces the heel's own natural absorption capabilities. The footbed also adapts itself to your individual foot shape, for a snug, comfortable and supportive fit.
