Good tool
I bought this for my wife to use wood carving, since I thought the trigger grip would fit her small hands better. I've been using it a lot myself and like it. I wish it had a brake, and I wish the gearbox were smaller to fit into tight spaces. Otherwise excellent.

MADE IN CHINA !
I looked at all the big box home improvement stores and all the angle grinders there were made in China. I decided to spend a little more and get this high end MILWAUKEE 6121-30 thinking surely this would still be made in the USA by PROUD AMERICAN WORKERS! .....WRONG! ... The first thing I noticed when I took It out of the box was the name plate on the tool said PROFESSIONALLY MADE IN CHINA BY MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL PRC ...this surprised me! the second thing I noticed was that one of the machine screws that hold the two sides of the tool case together was missing... THIS DID NOT SURPRISE ME after seeing It was made.....I mean PROFESSIONALLY MADE IN CHINA. I called the 800 # and the nice lady ( she spoke very good english so I think she Is from right here In the good old USA ! ) answered the phone pretty quickly and Is sending a screw to me so I can finish putting my new angle grinder together. I thought about asking If any of their angle grinders are still made In the U.S. so I could return this one and get a American made unit but I really needed this for a project so I will keep it and see how It holds up. Hopefully the inside Is put together better than the outside was. Here Is their # 1-800-SAWDUST ( 1-800-729-3878 ) M-F 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM In case you want to inquire before you spend your hard earned AMERICAN DOLLARS! On a lighter note It still has the MILWAUKEE 5 year warranty, and after I finish the job that CHINA didn't, I think ( hope ) it will be a heavy duty solid tool. I told the lady at Milwaukee that I would have been happy to pay a little more for this tool If It was made In the USA by American workers and ask her to pass that along to the management. She said she would be happy to do that for me. THOUGHT FOR THE DAY... If everything gets made In China, who will have a job so they can afford to buy It? If you call, be nice to the customer service lady, she Is very helpful and I'm sure It wasn't her idea to send these jobs to China!!!
