Cheaper than a new shovel
Saved a shovel that was on its way out. Not a cheap fix but cheaper than buying a new shovel. Pretty easy to install long casting material. Would buy again.

This stuff works great - a little messy but really fixes tool handles
The lever on my recliner broke, and there does not seem to be a way to replace it. I used this repair tape to make it good as new. The wet tape is a little messy but other than that it works great. I have used it for tool handles as well, and they are as strong as new. Excellent product

Are you tired?
Be sure you're not tired when you use this product. I was exhausted but determined, and therefore forgot to use the outer wrap to seal. That's what creates a beautiful molded shape around the leak. Now the leak is concentrated and spewing like a geyser because it wasn't wrapped properly. Without a tight winding of the outer wrap, the inner wrap can't set snugly. The inner wrap also hardens to damn near impenetrable very quickly, so now I have to freeze it off with refrigerant because I 'd have to use a power saw to cut through the layers and no doubt straight through the PVC. J.B. Weld ain't kidding with the efficiency of this product. Just be sure you're well-rested and follow the instructions to the letter!

Works as advertised
Used this item for the first time to repair a flat surface (plastic shute on a snow blower) and it worked just fine. I had to use some additional "bandage" and went through three pairs of gloves. The tape itself is viscous but very gooey. I suppose that's the point of an epoxy resin. If I use it again I'll know what to expect. But I can say it does harden like steel. Amazing.

Phenomenal
I'm actually shocked how well this worked. The entire pedal arm of my Elliptical machine cracked. It's 15+ years old, and just came apart at the weld between the pedal and the axle. I really didn't think this would work, but someone recommended I try it, and the part is impossible to replace 15 years later, so it was this or the whole machine goes in the landfill. I read the directions, and followed them perfectly, which it is clear from some of these reviews that not a lot of people did. I wrapped it, pulling and stretching it tight, and then wrapped it with the temporary bandage over top - it refused to stick because I had mistakenly gotten it a little wet with my wet hands. So I put a zip tie over the whole thing, and 5-7mins later, as per the directions, I removed both the zip tie and the bandage. I let it cure for a couple of hours before testing it on the Elliptical and to my shock and delight, it's good as new. It's held up great ever since, no sign of trouble. Thrilled to not have to replace an entire machine for thousands of dollars, thanks to this little wrap!!

Repaied a fiberglass shovel handle.
Had a fiberglass handle shovel split at the pin, the shovel was useless, instead of throwing it out I thought I would give this a try. I am impressed at the ease of use and the rigidity of the cured product. Although, it may not be the pretty, the shovel is functional and ready for many years of use now.

Messy and hard to work with.
To be fair, this appears to be intended as a repair to round handles on hand tools. It's probably easier to use for that then what I used it for. I used it to repair a crack in a plastic car door inside panel. The crack was where there was a 90 degree bend in the plastic and it had cracked for 8" of the bend. This was not quite what I was expecting. It was really messy. The fiberglass was not very pliable and was saturated with the black gooey epoxy. I had to cut it into pieces to make it fix the need. Cutting the gooey fiberglass was messy. THen had to soak it in the water, then had to lay it down on the plastic and make it conform to a 90 degree bend. It was VERY slick and not very sticky for the first 5 or 10 minutes. I had to keep pushing the stuff back down into position and it would slide around while I was doing that. As it started to set up so it would stick to the plastic it also started sticking to my fingers (the gloves). So I'd push it down to conform to the plastic but when I lifted my fingers up it came up with them. I finally put a double layer of paper towel over the stuff so it would stop sticking to my fingers. I was finally able to get it to stay down and conform to the plastic. When it was cured it did stick pretty well and looks like it will work. It would probably have been easier to buy some plain fiberglass tape and mix up some regular jb weld then coat the plastic with the JB and push the fiberglass tape into the regular jb weld. I did a second repair on the panel that was similar. The issues were the same but since it was the second time doing it, it was less frustrating to have to do the paper towel step, etc.

Easy to use and great joint strength
Fiberglass is naturally messy and this helps manage the application of fiberglass mesh. Gloves included were sufficient, canโt believe water is the activator as MEKP is generally required. Helped reduce the odor. I allowed the product to dwell 2-3 minutes after exposing to water to essentially firm the resin for greater forming around a furniture leg. Essentially preventing the mesh from unravelling. I was able to sand/grind the fiberglass within 20minutes. Product is impressive.

This must be imbued with magical powers
Carbon fibre bike fork broke, I didn't feel like a DIY carbon fibre repair, and I found this stuff and watched many videos online. It is easy to work with and sets ridiculously strong, I ended up looping electrical tape over it for a neater finish. My bike has been relegated to indoor trainer duties - but I'd be confident riding it at low speeds outdoors, if I really had to in an emergency. Not a bad thing to have in your back pocket, toolkit or car, because who knows when it might come in handy.

Totally dissatisfied with this product ! Aldi have a cheaper and better product . Disappointed .
I purchased this product with high expectations but let down badly. Costly product in relation to similar products and they are cheaper, for instance I used a Aldi brand with great results and cheaper . I thought I'd buy a product much dearer in price and turned into a dismal failure ! Very disappointed on all fronts, Price and product! I should ask for a refund or give me a product that'll work. unfortunately sometimes the dearest doesn't mean the best and this is now . I've never written a bad review but I'm so disappointed with the product and the cost .
