- Characteristics: Calluna 'Beauty Ladies' heather plants are compact, mound-forming evergreen shrubs which mature and grow with upright stems bearing dark green leaves. From late Summer into late Autumn the lovely stems will flower in shades of purple - turning these heathers into very eye-catching plants. The 'Beauty Ladies' series are fairly easy to grow and drought tolerant!
- Growth & Spread: The 'Beauty Ladies' heather series can grow up to around 50cm in height with a spread of between 60-70cm!
- Period of Interest: It is recommended to plant in Spring/Summer for gardens or Autumn for in containers. Calluna Heathers will fully flourish through July - September, showing off lovely vibrant purple colours in your garden.
- Plant Advice: Beauty Ladies require good drainage, so will tolerate slightly heavier soil, acid soil or alkaline soil. Water the heathers once or twice a week when the soil is dry throughout the first season - this will encourage rapid and vigorous growth. Limit pruning to only trimming any faded flowers after flourishing.

Calluna 'Beauty Ladies' Heathers are beautiful evergreen shrubs which will add vibrant purple colours to any garden or landscape display. Renowned for their hardiness, heathers can tolerate harsh winters and drought spells, so are fairly low maintenance shrubs to take care of. Be sure to plant heavy soil and allow for plenty drainage. When pruning calluna heathers, be sure to trim below the old flowers on the branch and begin to round the plant. Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist, but never soggy.
