Beetles Autumn Gel Polish - 23 Pcs Cozy Campfire Orange Yellow Red Brown

This was a bargain set for me, at £9.99 I got it on a deal day. I’d been wanting to try Beetles for a while so this was the perfect opportunity. I’m impressed, very impressed. Yes, they are small bottles, only 5ml each colour, but for home manicures they’re a perfect size. They are thicker than some other brands, and in some cases only one colour coat is necessary (with all nail polish, thin coats are always advisable to avoid wrinkling, peeling, chipping, and of course the burning sensation when curing under UV because it’s been applied too thickly!) I was going on holiday and I wanted a manicure that would last at least two weeks without any repairs or intervention from me. I also wanted to avoid the regrowth gap that can appear as the nail grows and the gel ‘grows out’ with it, so I created this polka dot look with just a clear base. The dots were made with 7 colours from the set, fixing each colour before adding the next so they didn’t bleed into each other and I could overlap them. The gold was just the occasional piece of round confetti. To create a smooth finish I used the base coat again over the colour coats, which also fixed the confetti in place, and finished with the No wipe clear top coat. These lasted over 3 weeks, I didn’t want to take them off, so when I got home I did a quick surface file, smoothing out the regrowth area, and reapplied the top coat down to my cuticle edge. In the end I removed them after 30 days, but only because my nails were so long they were becoming cumbersome and I needed to cut them, but they may well have lasted another week to ten days. I can see from other reviews that some people have had an allergic reaction to some polishes in the range. With all cosmetic products (not just hair dye) patch tests are important, in addition when applying gel polish it is imperative to avoid prolonged contact with skin and cuticles, clean away any excess before curing.

I've had gel nails before but I've never done them myself. Having debated it for months I finally bit the bullet and I'm so glad I chose this brand. Easy to apply, beautiful, vibrant colours and long lasting. They've lasted perfectly throughout my 2 week holiday and look just as gorgeous. Some colours are a little thick, but I'm sure practice will help to get them looking a little smoother. The matte top coat did look a little streaky, but that's more than likely my lack of practice and application of the colour underneath. All in all, wholeheartedly recommended!!

I really love this set of colours, they are so complementary to each other and perfect for autumn. The formula is mostly good, some only neeeding one coat really but did two anyway. And some are more sheer needing three coats for full coverage. The glitters are really pretty and have a coloured base so could be used on their own or over the top of a complementary colour. Top coat is really nice, no sticky layer and fairly shiny. The only downside is the size of the bottles. I should have read the description more clearly but they are very small bottles. Okay if you only do your own nails but would run out quickly if using regularly. Looking at a similar product by a different company their bottles are larger, so I have ordered a set of gels from them to see if the formula is comparable. If so I will be using them instead as they are around the same price, for the same amount of colours just in bigger bottles.

Just started doing my own nails after my first ever visit to a nail salon and realising how likely it was I would make it a recurring thing, so started to invest in some nail supplies and today, finally tried them out after removing my first, and last, salon set. I wanted to try out BIAB (bought separately) so used the Foundation/base coat that came with the gel colour set and then put the BIAB on top, curing as I went. I love the colour blue and as I was looking through the colours picked the glittery blue gel polish in the set (a499) and was so shocked at how much coverage the first brush on my nails made. I have never used polish so deeply pigmented and always had to do more than one coat but this was the first time one coat was more than enough! I used the glossy top coat option within the set over the one coat of colour and then cured that also. The bottle mentions 90s should be enough time to cure but I just went with the default 120s from my lamp and it dried down perfectly! I actually hadn't finished washing up due to all my excitement wanting to try out the gel nail set and risked a sustained hot water onslaught which the nails survived remarkably! So so good! Can't wait to try out the purple polish set I also bought and will definitely buy more!!!!

Fantastic range of colours. Comes in this sturdy holder making it easy to store. Options of both matte and gloss top coats. Coverage varies depending on the colour, some only take one coat others need two or three. Applies similar to regular nail varnish making it easy to use. The glitter polish have great coverage and the thickness is perfect. Would make for a great gift for those who like to do their nails. The size of the bottles are perfect, I have a number if these sets and have yet to run out of any of them.

Wow! I ordered these not expecting much of the price, but I am absolutely blown away. They come beautifully packaged in their own little stand. There is an even base coat, top coat and matte top coat included in the set, and I tried them out of interest and they work just as well as my existing, far more expensive ones. The colours are incredible with just one coat. They cure fast and well, and stay very shiny. If you want to try out some fun new colours, you can’t go far wrong. I’ll be buying a lot more from Beetles for sure.

Used this to do my own nails. Brilliant range of colours and even some lovely sparkly ones. The colour lasts about 4-5 days on nails, whereas if i got them professionally done they can last 2-3 weeks. Good for diy nails but not a good as professional polish.

Bereits mein zweiter Set von dieser Marke. Bin absolut begeistert. Wundeschöne Farben, gute Konsistenz zum arbeiten und härtet auch perfekt in 60sek aus. Ich hab eine UV/LED lampe also weiß ich leider nicht ob sie auch nur mit LED gut aushärtet, ich hatte keine Probleme bisher. Freue mich schon auf weitere Farben 🥰

It’s the second kit I buy from this brand. The durability is insane. I do it by myself and my nails can go over a month without maintenance and chips on the polish. High durability and good covering for the colors. No need to use it two times to cover the nails. Also it dries in 60 seconds on the UV cabin. The containers are the perfect size if it is only for personal use.

Sadly I found that the polish peeled off entirely or chipped away within 24 hours. I would buff my nails further then reapply and they would continue to fall off.
