L08 Black 4 Mode Nichia 219 92CRI Pocket LED Flashlight

I can't speak to the reliability of this light as I have not had it long but I can say that if its not abused is should function for a while. The beauty of this light is the way the switch works, unlike most lights with twisty switches, the + terminal of the battery is not in constant contact with the light module. When you cycle lights like this on an off, if you are over zealous you can stress the PC board of the the light module and potentially crack it. This light has a spring in the bottom of the battery compartment and the light is actually activated when the head of the light is tightened down to make contact with a "shelf" on the battery compartment. Contact is made in a full circle around the battery so the head stops and cannot be twisted further... bravo! The estimated run times seem accurate and if you want to assure reliable all year performance I would suggest using Energizer Lithium AAA batteries. Its very light in the pocket which works well with my work slacks. Its not uber bright but I usually use only the first two levels anyway. The 90 lumen highest setting is still sufficient for using outside at night. As long as you don't want a pocket flamethrower, this little light will fit the bill for an awesome EDC light.
