I have a cell phone that requires a 12 pin plug. I wasn't aware of the difference in the new required universal USB 5 pin cell phones. And neither was my provider. I damaged my cell a couple of times before I realized what was going on. When I finally knew I needed a 12 cord, my provider didn't have one, so I looked for one. I went to different stores only to find that they didn't have any nor could they get one. It was suggested that I go here and find it I did and well the rest is history. It was shipped and I received it in no time (well actually in 3 days). It is difficult to us only one of these cable charger because you have to move it all the time with the cell phone, so I purchased three and go a great deal in the price and free shipping. Thanks for having this near impossible product. Now, as long as I have this phone I will have the cable chargers for travel, car, and extra car in addition to my home.

I wish I had bought this product a long time ago. The only charger that fits & works perfectly. I finally decided to order the OEM because family members & friends would inadvertently take my charging cable. In addition, many of the the new mini USB cable does not work with the HTC Amaze. After going several days without being able to charge my phone, I decided to order this product online since HTC has upgraded their cell phones & the OEM charger is not available in any of the retail stores. The phone can use to charging cables but this one works the best. In addition, it is not compatible with most phones so I don't have to worry about someone taking it. I guess sometimes you have to Lose to Win. I feel vindicated.

I had been previously using a standard micro USB cable in my truck to charge my phone during my hour lunch break. The Rezound doesn't use a standard port so the cable fit loosely and sometimes didn't charge at all. This cable fits tight and always has a good connection.The standard cable also interfered with the radio in my truck, but this one doesn't. That is probably the best part about this purchase.I went to Radio Shack because they were a Verizon dealer and across the street from my job but they didn't know anything about the HTC Rezound charging port and couldn't help me. I'm sure I got a better price on Amazon than I ever would at retail.

I bought this cable for my HTC Amaze 4g and it was delivered some time in February, and I've been using it normally (no rough play with my cables, ever) and it starts shorting a month after. It started shorting suddenly on Monday, and now I have to position the cable for it to actually charge the phone.Wait a sec this morning it stopped working completely..........Update: I contacted the seller who was very professional in their response and sent me a replacement cable, which was nice of them. Much respect for their quick response and actions.

I have the HTC Rezound and it's charging/usb port accepts both the micro usb and this specially designed Extended Micro tip. The universal micro tips work, but in my opinion feel "loose" and over time begin to have problems with maintaining connectivity as far as having to play with the cord to make sure the phone is maintaining a good connection and is getting charged. This Extended Micro tip eliminates this problem for me altogether.I believe the phone's use of the Micro Extended port is a design flaw as almost every other HTC phone uses the standard micro tip, but regardless this cord is definitely what you should purchase if you have a device whose charging/USB port is similar.

This is not an OEM original HTC charger. The cable has a "Ecomoto" logo on it and the wall adapter has an "M" symbol/logo on it. The charger works just fine and fits the HTC Amaze properly (which, I've learned, is extremely hard to find in a replacement cable for this model phone), so I decided not to return it. But it definitely is not an original htc product and looks nothing like my original charger that had come with the phone. Still, it works AND it fits so I'm fairly happy with it.

The original 12 pin ExtMicro USB cable that came with my HTC Amaze broke 2 months in. I come to find out that the Amaze is one of the only devices that uses this new cable. I don't know why HTC didn't just go with the standard micro usb that 90% of the smartphones use today. Finding this charger/data cable was hassle, but it was well worth it. Great price ($10) considering everyone else is selling it for almost double.Edit July 29, 2013Return customer here! Due to my rough handling of the cable, I split the shielding exposing the wires. The cable still worked like a charmm but I decided to purchase another 2 for backup!
