Perfect! Just what I needed.
What a great little radio! It’s so easy to use, the tuning is simple and there is a very responsive volume button. I am pleasantly surprised at how good the sound quality is, even without having to put the aerial up. I just leave it on my kitchen window ledge and switch it on in the morning and sing along to some tunes. It’s so light and portable that I can carry it from room to room with ease as I do the housework. It makes doing horrid jobs easier and brightens my day without having to worry about using mobile battery. The quality is basic but that’s all I wanted and it does the job more than adequately, it’s good value for money too. I also really like the red colour, nice and bright. Would definitely recommend.

Hard to beat for the money.
Early impressions are that the sound quality is very good.Clear, not too tinny a sound.Finding stations is a little fiddly as the adjustment wheel hardly needs any movement for some FM stations. AM signal is good as well.I find it's a little hit and miss indoors with the reception and a slight movement in the radio position can lose signal.I've yet to try it when out camping in the hills which is the main reason I got it. I like that I can plug in some wired earbuds as well. I do like to use wired earbuds for listening when seated or kicked back relaxing. It's just about the right size. Any larger and it wouldn't really be suitable for packing light.I'm impressed so far and for a tenner it's unbelievable really. I bought one I their DAB radios for the kitchen as well and that's also pretty good. I've had Grunding, Sony and Roberts portable radios costing much more and this is pretty good in comparison. (Not quite as good, but not a millions miles away). Where the likes of other more well known brands win out is in the quality of reception and ease of tuning. They pip this radio. But again for a tenner it can't be beaten so far. I can recommend it but I will come back with a real world update review over the next few months as I put it through it's paces.

Fab compact radio at a great price.
Fab little radio at a great price, bought for our chickens as they love music. Would really recommend using rechargeable batteries as it can use a lot but i have it on all night every night and they need charged every 3rd day. Very easy to use with two wheels and a switch and picks up a signal easily. Will be buying a few more.

An excellent portable transistor radio
A nice little pocket radio to listen to. All the stations on the FM band come out crystal clear and very audible. The ones on AM a little less sharp but good enough to make out. Overall a good radio to take with you anywhere.

An easy listen.
Very useful sized radio which can be used for listening in any room and also used as a personal radio with ear plugs (not supplied but any phone type will do). Both uses provide good sound and controls are very visible and easy to use. A good buy especially for holiday or quiet days out.

Rubbish
I purchased this item a few months ago (mainly for use in a power cut). Tried it out for a minute or two when it arrived and it seemed to work fine. Used it properly for first time today. It worked for a short period of time (half an hour or so) and then suddenly started to screech out an interference sound. After switching off, it will start for a very brief period of time only to be replaced by loud interference type sound. Very annoying. Have changed batteries twice but this does not help. Moving it well away from any source of interference does nothing.I have contacted seller who completely ignored the fact that I mentioned I had changed the batteries twice and was asked to try changing the batteries! They also requested I videotape the problem and send the videotape. WHY? To avoid the refund I requested? Or give me more things to try out?
