They’re pricey, but worth it.
These brushes are worth the price. I have used a lot of other brushes and these are the only ones that retained their shape after use. Other, lesser quality, brushes get frayed and lose their shape after a few uses, but these brushes have stood as is from the get go. This pack is nice because you have a super detailed brush to a much larger option. These brushes can be used for oil, acrylic, or watercolor no problem. I love them, and would definitely purchase this brand again.

Realllyyy smooth!
It has good water retention the quality is amazing and so far very nice!!! Its durability is great so far and I would say it’s good for its price!!!! It’s also great for each paint medium.

I absolutely love this Princeton Velvetouch Series 3950 brush set—it feels premium yet affordable, and the synthetic bristles hold their shape beautifully, even after heavy use in acrylics and watercolors. The Velvetouch handles are comfy in my hand (they're my new favorite!), making extended painting sessions really fun. These brushes hold a LOT of water, and I appreciate how they snap back in place easily. Great purchase! My only negative- I wish I could find brushes outside of the sets-I can't find them sold seperately. If you're new to watercolor, I don't htink you can get any better than Princeton!
