I finally found a shampoo that is just shampoo. Everything has conditioner added to it. Why? Anyways. I have oily hair and this stuff is hands down the best. Nothing even comes close. It cleans without over drying. The scent is phenomenal. It's light but smells great. I use it daily and absolutely love how clean and soft it makes my hair. It feels like that all day too. Every other brands just shampoo... if you can find it. Always left my hair feel like it wasn't rinsed out or even clean. Just try this stuff. It's well worth the money. It lasts a long time. You need very little of it. Seriously buy it.

My husband buys the cheapest shampoos, so ok, I’m comparing it to the worst. But he used up the tube I purchased for him as a gift and then he bought the largest pump bottle of it from Amazon. He’s delighted with it, and so am I. His hair gets oily by the end of every day. He shampoos daily. His hair looks great, at 75 it’s all white and gray, but it’s thick.

This shampoo can be used everyday if you are a person like me who has a lot of oil (DHT) that builds up on your scalp everyday. Paul Mitchell makes some great shampoos for all types of hair. This shampoo is very good for men who have thinning hair and/or people who use product in your hair to style it. You are thinning because your hair follicles get blocked up with sebum (DHT) and it causes the follicle to shrink, thus what brings on hair loss. I am no expert, but have used all types of different shampoos thru the years that are only available from a salon or are certified to be sold here on Amazon. The Heavy Hitter is the BEST I have ever tried. Its even better than Paul Mitchells others like the Tea Tree line of products. Tea Tree is a GREAT shampoo, but it is a little too strong on the mint and it burns a bit and causes me to break out. I am in my 40's and never had any acne (Luckily). I just recently discovered the Heavy Hitter line and am loving it! I do use it everyday with no problem like dry hair. My scalp gets so oily, I could wash it every 5-8 hours to remove the DHT that causes my hair loss. If you are a person who is oily, this is for you and you can use it everyday. Others with little oil (natural) might not want to use it everyday. The Heavy Hitter is even better than Nioxin and they make quality products too. I would most definitely give the Heavy Hitter a try if you fall into the categories I described. I just want to point out that in NO WAY am I writing this review because I am being compensated with $$ or free product from Paul Mitchell. This is strictly my own experiences and bought all the products I mention with my own money.

If you use a lot of products in your hair, you have got to use the Mitch Heavy Hitter Deep Cleansing Shampoo on a regular basis. It does an amazing job stripping your hair of all of the built-on gunk from hair gel, mousse, pomade, and more. The scent is very masculine and unoffensive. Other reviewers knock the scent as cheap cologne or like an Axe body spray, but I disagree. It's right in line with the likes of a Burberry for men cologne (read: fresh and invigorating). And besides, after rinsing it off, the scent barely remains. Just remember, it's only shampoo. You should follow it up with conditioner as well. Otherwise, you'll end up stripping your hair with zero protection left afterward. Pricing varies wildly. Cross shop with Ulta and other beauty retailers. Sometimes you can find it cheaper elsewhere, especially with coupons.
