Seriously just buy these. Are you looking for hardy well made Japanese craftsmenship in the kitchen? Why would you reach for those old plastic-handled dull sheers instead of these? Ergonomic, sharpenable, quality accessible sheers. I might just buy more to hand out to friends.

I really like these scissors. They’re easy to use, work great, and the only downside is they are a bit heavy. Maybe because they are high quality!

I gave the scissors 4 stars because the attachment point floats. If you don't hold it in place, you can't attach the other half after cleaning. The scissors are very well made.

These kitchen scissors are surprisingly handy. They’re sharp enough to cut through meat, herbs, packaging, and other things I use in the kitchen. They feel sturdy in my hand and are easy to clean. I’ve been reaching for these more often than I expected, and they’ve been a nice little addition to my kitchen.

Razor sharp. Almost too sharp. Absolutely rock solid, come apart when you need them to for cleaning, stay together perfectly when in use. Cut all the way from the base to the tip too. They are probably more for precision work than true brute force cutting like some kitchen shears, but they are beautiful nevertheless.

I have been using these for a few months and I am very impressed by their edge retention and how easy they are to clean.

I'll recommend these all day every day. For kitchen shears they are more than adequate. Sharp, accurate, and I never have to do that stupid sideways squeezy thing to prevent the blades from flopping over the thing I'm trying to cut.

Does not dull easily, stays sharp for a long time, been using these for over five years with no issues. It comes apart easily, which surprised me at first, but you get used it to it, and it is extremely easy to clean
